I have one of these grips on one of my ARs and I love it. I got the Frag pattern. I will say that if you find the texture too aggressive you could always take a sanding sponge (found in any hardware store) and run it over the grip until you are satisfied. I would also put some oil on a rag (just a little) and rub it into the grip after sanding. That way you get the original color back.
KUNG FU GRIP CAN NOT BE STOPPED! always fun to see and compare all grips. but come on Caleb.. Kung fu cant be beat ??? Cheers from the Woods of Maine! stay classy Iowa!
That’s a slick looking new paint job on your rifle! Is it DIY Alumahyde? Can you make a video about it? And those grips look really cool, might have to try one out.
Those are really nice-looking grips. It's like spandex for your ar15.😂 I bought a umarex grease gun and put some 1911 grips in that same pattern on it. They look great and make the gun more comfortable.
Damnnnnnnnnnn these are $85!!!! I know G10 is expensive but holy crap. Hard pass on this despite liking G10. $25 for ONE mlok rail cover. I'm just gonna stick with BCM and Slate Black industries but thanks for showing me this.
I will have to check these out. I have VZ on every pistol that takes grips. I had no idea they made AR grips, and will have to check them out. Do they make a Front hand stop/Grip?
I have a couple of these and I like them a lot, but as you say, I keep wondering why no matching foregrip. They already have M-LOK rail covers; it seems like an M-LOK foregrip would be an obvious product.
The ppl in these comment sections being like ITS PLASTIC! NO lmao g10 is another animal and it’s SUPER hard to work with. I doubt a bunch of y’all would want to deal with the silica glass shards it makes or the dust that can also mess you up. It is a EXTREMELY high end material.
@@HazardousRob also if your saying it’s not hard to work with yes it cuts and grinds EXTREMELY WELL but it does not mean it does so easily. It can eat bits and abrasives a lot faster than a carbon steel can man
@XRKNIFEANDTOOL not breathing any of it in. Work gets done in an air tight booth, and any hand finishing is done wet while wearing a respirator mask that covers my entire face. G10 sands and grinds very easy, and diamond cutters/bits are cheap. 🤦♂️ just stop man 😂🤦♂️😂
Who doesnt love them an $85 piece of plastic 😂 after your spotlight in Live Free Kung Fu for 18 i was sold but them have been sold out since....Im holding out for the replen!
Dayum. That's what i was afraid of as soon as i saw the grips. I've been looking for places to get cheaper stuff like grips, hand gun frames, pic and mlok rail covers, etc from 3D printing companies or something similar but no luck so far.
@@it_is_what_it_is_brotha then you should know that it’s quite a bit better quality than simple injection molded plastic. Hence the higher price. It is a quite a ridiculous price though ha.
@it_is_what_it_is_brotha Considering that it is an improvement on plastic (much tougher) it's not simply a replacement. It has qualities and applications that can't be found with simple plastics.
Got one of their AR grips and the top of it wasn't tall enough so I had to use steel-putty to make it flush against the frame. Looks like they did ZERO quality control on those grips!! For that price I expected better...
That grip compliments your Aluma-Hyde job amazingly
G-10 is a phenolic resin, or laminated fiberglass cloth layers, with epoxy/resin. It's common on knife handles, and tough as hell.

Yay, LEGO hair is back
That’s funny. Imagine worrying about all that shit every single day? Girls must love it.

A2 Grip Mafia. Actually A1 grips are my fave, then Magpul. Ergo grips are not bad either. I have G10 on my CZ 75.
Now, Elvis definitely would have had those but with diamonds stuck all over them ! The bling baby, the bling !

Btw, did you bake cure the scope? Or just air cure
I would imagine just air cure. Baking a scope would probably mess up the seals and glass coatings.

@Brownells,Inc : Just curious but If G10 is so durable, why are there no AR stocks made from it. seems to me like it would be ideal for a stock,
He just said they were heavier...
So how come yall don’t show prices anymore on what ever product you’re reviewing?
Cause we're in a recession
Cuz that would instantly cut down the amount of traffic the featured manufacturer and Brownells would receive
Because 6 years from now idiots will complain.
@@kellym3531 this is the answer
That usually only happens when Paul Levy presents the new products from Brownells.
Amazing.
they look good af
As you were moving that weapon over to your left shoulder, I was saying "That's OK. It's OK to be wrong".
Me wondering why no matching foregrip 🧐

Draco grips when?
Looks good.
Please tell me you are going to be in the next Fallout series
But Draco grips when?
Matt from Fudd Busters wants to know.
I don't think there will ever be a grip that shakes me from Hogue Overmolds.

They’re made of machined G-10, not simple plastic. Were you even paying attention?

I need a beaver tail
i love the texture but it hurts my eyes to look at
That grip angle looks almost the same as an A2 , don't really see it being more vertical.

That's a weird looking Draco grip.
Beautiful but heavy.
$85? Umm..... no.....
G10 grips are so hideous that it comes around and I start to like them.
$85? 😂 Ill stick with my B5 grips for $19.
$85 lmaooooooo
