FYI you just need to tap the synchronization button twice. You don't need to hold it down until it blinks and then tap it. I've been using this feature for months, between my Xbox and tablet and it's really good.

Durable, that's cap. My xbox one controller gains drift or breaks buttons after 1 or 2 were as I had a 350 controller for 4yrs without it breaking 🤔 or is that just me?
ONE thing they need to IMPROVE is on the material of the thumbsticks as they leave marks everytime using it and they get loose over time, but otherwise love the controllers
I like to use kontrolfreek extended thumb sticks for games such as Microsoft Flight Simulator and various racing games etc etc.. it’s a nice little add-on which may help with control and precision in certain games.

That is so true! Especially with the Elite 1 controller. Because it’s so heavy and the bumpers are thin plastic so they will break. Listen to this man, do not drop your controller. Especially elite
Here is a tip. Dont use corded mics because the jack is downright horrible. Less than a year and i already problems with it. my ps4 controller lasted years without issues
I've tried EVERY single method to getting my controller to work and NOTHING is working.. The only buttons that work are only the triggers and left analog stick.. thats it. Can't go to setting on xbox because my A,B,X,Y does NOTHING! I've tried to resync my controller but that button does nothing. I've put in new batteries, that does nothing, I've plugged it into my xbox, that does nothing, I've done resets on both my xbox and controller and that's done nothing. Does someone have any logical ideas on how to fix this. Because it seems to me that I'm the only person having this issue..
Can’t improve upon good standard However I would suggest Kontrolfreek extended thumbsticks. Extra grippy and nice to have that extension in certain games
DO NOT waste your money on the Elite Series 2. Absolutely abysmal build quality and control. I warranty exchanged them SIX TIMES before I finally gave up.

I never knew that sync trick. That's really going to come in handy taking my elite controller back and forth between my office xbox and bedroom xbox.

Xbox 360 & Xbox one had the best limited edition controllers of all time in my opinion, waiting for more on Xbsx!
A handy one you did not mention, to turn off controller without turning off the console:
Double press and hold the Xbox button on the second press :)
You can also just hold the button down for awhile longer and it will turn it off.

Finally someone says it!! Every XSX controller I've owned has sticks get loose in under a month and i thought I was crazy.

Yeah I had some for my Ps4, they feel weird at first but they really help with minute movement controls.

Try to not spill juice or soda on the buttons, then they won’t stick in.
nice, now I can remap - to have my Xbox controller mimic my PS5 controller.... yay for triangle, square, circle, and X
