I'm new to the X Family. I had a 360 back then, then switched to Sony. After years I'm back with the Series X and I gotta say, overall experience is just better. And I got a PS5 aswell but my daily driver will be the X.
I have both as well and the PS5 UI just seems more exciting and welcoming and smoother running also the controllers feel way more higher quality the Xbox controller feels really generic but comfortable but still has that cheap plastic feel and I don't think nobody can argue that one 😂
So what you are saying is that all these “hidden” options are available in the not-so-hidden standard menu? Just as long as one makes an effort to browse through the menu.
I had the first 5 "hidden features" on my forza 6 Xbox from 9.15.2015. Besides the dynamic (swooshy) background, you could always set it from any device
Some of these features have been there for years now on the Xbox One like the custom gamerpic and choosing your own background of a saved image I've done that last year lol but I'm still trying to get my hands on a series x, day 11 of going to Walmart and best buy wish me luck

Controllers have firmware updates, something people don't realise but you can go into the settings and check for updates You can switch the controller between xbox and whatever other device you had it connected to by either tapping the connect button on the back of the controller once or twice, but I can't remember which is which!
4:12 this is the only supposedly ‘hidden’ feature I didn’t know about and by god is this life changing. The amount of times I’ve had to slowly go down to get to notifications!

It was first the classics like Tetris and super Mario 64 to now what seems to be next ten features like raytracing and 4k graphics that are so realistic that seems real even in virtual reality too. Some games can really give you the creeps they are so realistic! A game pass subscription is set to your account Any account on that specific console will have the active subscription. That will only work as long as you have that console set as your home Xbox

I recieved the Seagate 1TB SSD Expansion Card same day my Series X arrived. I also own the One X and XB1 I'm loving the machines. I been using the Series S more like my daily driver 🎮

Otherwise, not blown away with it either. I do like the DualSense controller, not because of the triggers or anything but just because of how it feels in my hands. It's big, hefty, and conforms to the inside curves of my hands just right. Hate the black and white style though.
I have both new consoles and I can't believe how silent the series X is compared to my ps5 which has coil whine . A constant buzzing sound which is very annoying It's the only thing spoiling the ps5 for me . Also the removable covers on the ps5 vibrate and make a racket ,I have to press on the casing to stop it vibrating. My Xbox has been flawless so far really pleased with it

Just got mine delivered about an hour ago, I seriously suggest people in the uk try ‘GAME’ and keep checking all bundles, I got the bundle that came with an extra controller and it wasn’t sold out as quick as just the console by its self
You didn't mention that the controller can remember a xbox and Bluetooth device at the same time, allowing easy switching from say a console and a phone. Just sync normally to your console, then with the controller off press and hold the sync button to sync via Bluetooth. After that you can switch between the 2 by double tapping the sync button for your Xbox and holding the sync button for Bluetooth while the controller is on.
Can you put music from a cd from either system onto the hard drive so you can listen to your own music while you play the games? Are used to be able to do this with the Xbox and 360

Please give us the option to put the Audio settings all the way to the left of the quick trigger settings, or customise this part of the menu in general.
How about the coolest feature. The inherent audio delay from eARC, and the fact that eARC doesnt support dolby atmos or DTS:x. Couple that with the fact that there are no receivers available that are hdmi 2.1 and fully support 4k 120hz.

I got a Series X and my trick was to put it in my cart and wait until it came back into stock because when I was buying it, Best Buy had it coming in stock every few minutes. So I put it in my cart and was able to buy it at the same time. My friend was able to get it and he had it in his cart then bought it when it came back in stock.
How about volume control for the headset? I can't modify the GAME volume and CHAT volume independently.....like i used to be able to do. I can only hear my friends chat if we're playing a quiet game....co-op shooting game might as well be playing with randoms without mics

I got a Series X and my trick was to put it in my cart and wait until it came back into stock because when I was buying it, Best Buy had it coming in stock every few minutes. So I put it in my cart and was able to buy it at the same time. My friend was able to get it and he had it in his cart then bought it when it came back in stock.

How about volume control for the headset? I can't modify the GAME volume and CHAT volume independently.....like i used to be able to do. I can only hear my friends chat if we're playing a quiet game....co-op shooting game might as well be playing with randoms without mics

Along with 100 already paid games, 3/4th of which i really want to play! and Xbox live gold! And also came with a 1tb memory card for extra space or to take it to another console! Along with 4 controllers! And thats just the beginning! Thank God I've worked on my credit cause God knows I wouldn't be able to spend right out on all this lol
