Thank you for the kind words. ☺️ Funnily enough, I got this Top Force for that exact same reason! I saw one running at my local track, thought it looked great and made up my mind I needed one in the collection. 😅
What a cool video, very much Kai City RC style! It's an odd colour choice for the old Top Force, but I've watched this video 3 times now and it is growing on me, it looks really nice! I also ended up fitting a different wing on one of mine, looks a lot better that way!
Thanks 👍 I must admit I wasn't much a fan of the Top Force until quite recently. The design has grown on me and now I really like it. It drives well too.
Thank you! I got quite the work out that day as I had camera issues and several times I thought the camera was recording and it wasn't! 😫 Ended up having to do extra runs to get enough footage for the video.
Looking good David! I'm rebuilding a vintage Evolution currently. They are quite capable RCs. I love your design choice. I'm not really a box art guy myself.
In the past I didn't have much interest in the Top Force and often wondered what all the fuss was about. But now I've built one, I see the appeal. Like anything they have the weak points and I've tried to address the more serious ones. Mine is a standard Top Force, but the mods I've done bring it pretty close to Evo spec. There are a couple more things I'd like to change, most notably the front diff cover, but I'm not in any hurry.
Excellent run and wonderful shots with the TF!!! I really like it in the blue, that looks really snazzy! Thanks as always for taking the time to record and edit these so very well! Always a treat to watch!
Thank you! I was going to go green, box art. But a few other people at my local track have box art TF's. So I ended up using the green on the Dog Fighter and some blue I had lying around on this. Then had to source the Evo decal set as the kit decals didn't work with the blue paint. Overall, pleased wth how it came out. Would like to fit the stock wing, but it won't work with my aftermarket shock tower.
@@KaiCityRC It turned out looking really cool. I prefer the flatter wing you have on there instead of the super angled stock one. It makes the whole car look less like a wedge and more like a buggy.
Thank you! I wasn't a huge fan of the Top Force back in the day, but the design has grown on me. 👍 It would be nice to fit the stock wing, as I think it goes well with the body., but the carbon shock tower I'm using doesn't work with the stock wing mount. And the stock wing already has pre-drilled holes that won't work with the wing mount I do have.
@@KaiCityRC Your custom wing looks better than the stock I feel, as the stock one's angle looks like it's almost vertical lol. I've got my Top Force on preorder, gonna customize it like RCHobbyShed's, such a beaut! Can't wait! :D
Thank you for taking the time to comment. I certainly don't do RUclips for the money 😅 but more subscribers can really help to unlock filming opportunities. 👍 It would be nice to reach 4,000 by Christmas. 😊
This looks absolutely amazing! Great video 🤩 Is it possible for you to do a video about the radio's/ electronics that you recommend? Maybe stick vs wheel transmitters?
Thanks for taking the time to comment. ☺️ I'm not sure how useful such a video would be. Stick VS wheel is really just a personal preference kind of thing. Like many people, I started out with sticks in the 80's and 90's, but moved to wheels from the early 2,000's. I'd say just go with what feels more comfortable. Wheels are by far the most popular choice for ground based RC's. And it is also possible to use them one-handed in needs be. (I film while driving one-handed) As for electronics, I'm not a hard-core racer, so I mostly use budget receivers and servos. They work fine for my needs. For ESC's I go with the ever popular Hobbywing 1060. For brushless setups it's a mix of G Force and Hobbywing Justock. I run a high end transmitter, the Futaba 10PX mostly because of the model memory slots. For the buggies I run in races, I'll spend a bit more for mid tier servos and perhaps a better esc. Hope that helps.
Nothing like waking up to another stunning video. Thanks for sharing and now I want to get one

Great stuff and nicely shot! Always good to drive in some dusty dirt too! :)

The top force is one great looking buggy, and that blue really sets it off. Great footage 👌

Such a good looking buggy!
What a great shot.
Thing of beauty 😍 I have both the original and the evo and they would be the last ones to go if I was forced to get rid of my rc's.
I've really changed my mind on the Top Force. Was never a fan back in the day, but now...I think they look fantastic. 😎
Very nice editing (and driving of course) 👍
Thank you! ☺️
Great shutter speed aliasing the five spoke wheels making them at times look non-rotating like an old western movie!
Thank you! I like the effect and often try and use it in my running videos. It does look cool. 😎 😊
Awesome runs, both the car and you I guess, following the car 😅 That TF looks so good, with the autumnal background. Well done, David 👏🤝

Stunning as always David!! Tamiya really need to get you involved in their presentation videos dude 😎
That would be nice! 😁 Maybe one day!
That's one sexy car!
