Of all the possible sounds of nature-rain, a stream, the ocean, a crackling fire, etc-wind through trees or grass is my favorite. When I was a teen, we lived on a quiet street and our yard had probably 30-40 pine trees in it. I would sit outside in my car with the windows down and just listen. That was about 40 years ago. This is My absolute favourite nature sound. When I was a child, it was easy to find a field with long grass in it and enjoy the delicious noises coming at me and soothing my soul. Now all the fields are gone and have been replaced by housing estates and developments. This is such a precious sound to me and brings me great peace. I will have a lovely nights sleep.
