- Phil Keen's Lister Knobbly refused to take the start of the Sussex Trophy at the end of the 2018 Goodwood Revival. When he finally got its Jaguar engine fired up he was forced to start from the pitlane. Fire-up himself, he proceeded to slice through the field in search of victory, in the process he set fastest lap after fastest lap. #gwspeedweek #Lister #V8

Thumbnail pun checks out.
It's brilliant seeing these golden oldies being driven like they were new
Definitely. Just looking at the way the cars are sweeping through the corners and getting close to the exit curbs is phenomenal. Seeing their steering inputs is amazing.
Glorious sound! Proper POWERslides and really "on the edge" driving. Superb!
I love the way they slide through the corners!
That’s some speed to be 4-wheel drifting so beautifully!
Beautiful. Point the nose. ease the throttle, set the lock and make it fine.
Beautiful car. I’m surprised that I haven’t heard of it before now...
Dude was driving the spit out of that car!
Magnifique
Man I love those jaguar engined cars.
A lister is Jaguar suspension utilizing Chevrolet 327 sbc for power. That's why it was flying through the corners and staying together....
Better than modern f1
Would love to see some of today's racers get behind the wheel of these older race cars with their 5 or 6 inch wide tires and how skillful their driving really is.
Boi the car is literally sliding an old car too well
Isn‘t that a straight six? Looks (exhaust pipes only on one side) and dounds no like a V8
Yes, it's a 3.8 straight six Lister Jaguar, love it.
Stuart Sedge ... as in the earlier E Types (or is it a wide angle head?). I have 4.2. S1 E Type since 10years.
It shares the same XK engine block and wide angle head as the later D-types and Lightweight E-types.
No cheap plastic there
