I would agree that humans have strayed past surviving and reproducing, with one other purpose, that being enjoyment. All of the things we do in our life are consequences of our craving to enjoy that life, or to make, as said, surviving and reproducing easier.

I have actually!! It was so cursed to eat with. The little tines at the front are stronger bc they’re made of metal not plastic, but there’s a downside. Your muscle memory encourages you to use the spork like a spoon, but then without thinking it’s easy to accidentally jab yourself with the tines. Not an awful eating experience bc the spork was actually a decent utensil, but it felt so absolutely wrong at the same time.

Personally, music, abstract art, and quantum mechanics have always led me to believe that there is not just more to humans than base instincts, but also that humans are connected to something beyond our current understanding of the universe.
My grandpa was named Johnathan and he was an awesome man (he sadly died of a heart attack at around 65). He was a christian and a really good guy. I loved him a lot.

I developed a hatred towards nature and how it influenced me. Eating, sleeping, doing practically anything I wanted to was inevitably the choice of basic human instinct. I realized that everything I loved was simply a result of how I was programmed. I fell into a depressive state. I could’ve been happy, I could’ve forgotten all of it, but I didn’t want to. Happiness, to me, seemed like just playing into what nature wanted me to do. I came to the conclusion that the only way to spite nature is to destroy myself and everything I loved. Thankfully, I realized that the desire to “spite” nature was, if you look farther back, was also the result of my own instincts and programming. I embraced my desires and instincts because there’s no possible way of denying them. I’ve been fine since then.
Hey JC. I know you may miss this comment, but I want to put this out there: in the past year or so you’ve made an incredible impact on so many people’s lives, mine included. These videos do genuinely bring me so much joy to watch I’d gladly watch them over again. I hope you enjoy making these as much as we enjoy watching them. I feel like Rock Paper Scissors is not based on luck, but based on knowing the psychological profile of your opponent, hence if you play more rounds with the particular player, you can develop a sense of what they will pick next.

There's never been a channel that has consistently makes me laugh, think, and give me a borderline life crisis, it's weird to think about if free will is a thing but I'd like to imagine that we have that, that we arent defined by just eating, fucking, and surviving, cause I don't think our instincts intended us to make phones, rollercoasters, and space ships, these are the kinds of thoughts I always get when watching jc, and it's always a neat experience, that I can never find on any other channel.

As someone who knows the greatness of forks, I beg to differ on the first argument. Spoons have their uses but at the end of the day they are just mini bowls on sticks. Forks however let you turn your food into a mini kabab, and let you wrap up spaghetti with ease. Spoons are good and may even have some good used, but forks are by far superior. I do agree with you about sporks, they are a curse on this world and any who embrace them should be only allowed soup or tough meat so as to shift them away from that cursed path

I personally think that freedom is a mindset, a person isn't truly free until they have completed what they consider to be their obligations A person can be bound to others emotionally, and yet still be free But a person could have nothing, and be more imprisoned than a maniac Freedom is subjective to the individual which is why so many people feel tied down, they are trying to be free but cannot enter the mindset for whatever reason
