I think the design is great for the cost spec and time it was made. It’s just the marketing that was a total disaster. It’s a super fun fine weather vehicle rather than for daily commuting on busy roads. The only upgrades I’ve done are chunkier tyres which helps the ride and lithium battery which greatly increases range and boosts speed. Most common response I get from people when I’m driving it around is “where can I buy one!” So maybe it was just 40 years too early.
@@timsbobs7774 Folding Electric Bicycles were introduced around that Time they could be stored indoors and were way safer and practical they sold out Quickly..
Still looks cool. It was just ahead of its time.
