they did, ALONG Time ago, i was a kid Danny phantom was EXTREMELY new around the 2005 it was on netflix for a year... i remember going to my basement and turning on the WII and then going to netflix. i found Danny phantom and watched it, that's when my love for the show started it was only years later i re watched it and found out it was canceled i cried, now i re-watch that show about every chance i get, the animation was beyond good for its time!
I love the whole concept of Danny struggling to keep his humanity with his secret identity blown, it adds a whole new dimension to his character. I can just see him digging up the Genie to wish people would forget his secret.
Or maybe he goes to visit clockwork again. Not to change the timeline per say, but to look at alternate timelines. See what (if anything) would be different about his life.

So Danny Phantom The college years has a great ring to it. I would think the plot be along the lines of Danny is finally living a life of being a superhero while being a college student. The extreme attention from everybody is something that would make him feel uncomfortable and put a strain on his close relationships with family and friends (Sam and Tucker). But, his parents finally don't have to hunt him down. The story should be him navigating through college and trying to find a sense of humanity. Another thing would be dating Sam, handling the difficulties of a somewhat abnormal relationship. The villians are another thing! Bringing back Danny's evil future self to fight him would be pretty cool. Fenton University has an interesting ring to it. Could you make this happen within 1-3 years? This would bring back the vibe of Nickelodeon from the early 2000s.

Clearly Danny Phantom has the fandom to support a revival, and it would easily capture as much the new young fans as it would the older millennial crowd looking to tune back in on a nostalgia wave. YES! I was literally just watching DP on Hulu for nostalgic reasons and my 6 yr/o brother came into the room and started watching it with me and was seriously LOVING it as much as I always have! There is clearly so much potential for this show to come back and easily take on the new generation and have the same effect on their childhoods as it has for us. All we need is Nickelodeon's cooperation in either working with Butch to reboot it, or signing over the rights to him all together and letting him find his own creative ways to make it great!

MAKE THIS STORY A REALITY! I always wanted more danny phantom, including a rematch between him and dark dan (evil danny) where danny would truly best him in combat instead of just taking him by surprise like he did.
I still remember hearing about this show when I was in middle school, from my teacher because she was so proud that her brother has a new show coming to Nickelodeon.
Or a "Teen Titans GO" on CN. Also, IDENTITY POLITICS. The fact that Danny, Sam and Tucker are natural outcasts, would attract lots of network heads too separated from the audience and Twitter NPCs.
I know this video came out a few years ago but I'm still in full support to revitalize Danny Phantom. There is so much potential with a modern day version of the show. Always loved the art style for the ghosts, specifically Ember and Evil Danny. But I don't mind a bit of evolution in design. I seriously hope we can get the college years and maybe even the adult years where they have children. Plenty of stories to tell but one step at a time I suppose. Make a Villian that isn't a ghost, but isn't human either. I would love to see a more expansive universe now that he is more well known, perhaps there are forces besides the ghost zone and the human world, a third or fourth party, if you will. A Villian who perhaps is simply something Danny hasn't faced before. With skills and abilities that aren't ghost based that he hasn't ever had to deal with before.
Wait I have a better idea then my first one. What if when they phased the meteor through the planet some of the ghost plasma radiation, or whatever kinda mumbo jumbo you wanna use , infected humans across the planet and they inherent a diverse range of ghost abilities. Some can fly, some can phase through things, others can body hop and now Danny not only has to endure his new found fame but also take responsibility of all these people developing abilities because of him. Maybe have some organization collecting these people developing abilities and it’s a race to get to them first. Maybe have the public turn against him because of everything that’s happened.

I believe college danny should be about him taking More time interacting with the ghosts of ghost zone. Like going out with ember and kitty and having friends and even live in the ghost zone to avoid the chaos of the human world

I was just thinking a ghost zone spin-off would be dope to Butch, you could talk about the origins of the ghost zone and all the other ghosts contributions as well. I also think that season 4 would be cool picking up where season 3 left off and they can use that to pave the way for the college series, spin-off and 10 years later. Let’s pray Nick makes a Danny Phantom announcement soon.

And, like, Cosmo and Wanda could disguise themselves as students and help protect Timmy AND Danny from prying eyes, and then all of their friends still don't know about the fairies and that becomes the secret the main characters have to maintain and keep hidden from the world. 🤯

I like you're idea, and Crocker being suspicious of the ghost zone, but the only thing I prob won't like is now how cosmo and Wanda will have to take care of Danny and Timmy, cuz Timmy could just wish the ghosts away instead of having a whole intense fight
I just finished rewatching Danny Phantom. This is my favorite show as a kid and I would love for it to continue. My one thought though about everybody knowing his secret, can’t he wish from Desiree to make everyone forget his real identity but keep the fact that he saved the world? Let those he’d want to know his secret remember it but the rest forget about his identity? I hope Hulu can pick this up and continue season 4, maybe start with a time jump to their HS graduation or 1st day at College. Either way would work. I’d love for Danny Phantom to continue for a few more years or a few more seasons for closure...

Furman University is a thing. Local legend has it that the student body wanted the mascot to be the Crusading Knight, but the admin choose paladin instead.
Actually that doesn't really matter. You have schools such as Baylor University, Texas A&M University, and so much more. BU works, so why wouldn't FU or PU? After all, a University is just a name anyways, it's its reputation that matters/makes the school.
You know Butch,in a way the scenario you described on how Danny lives his life in this after series kinda feels similar to how Ben 10 lives his life because Ben 10 also deals with trying to live a normal life but also deals with the pressures of being a celebrity at the same time.
I think Danny should be mildly muscular now from all the hero work he has done or that he's not and dash is now bullying him over that but also trying to get him into shape so he can be a better hero.
This is solely my opinion but with the physical stress he could encounter with those years, he may not have a muscular body really that shown, I think the drawing would probably be accurate.
So perhaps the stress did keep him small and that's the problem so dash in his unique flavor is trying to eradicate the problem and with eventual and gradual success.

I would KILL for a comic or TV show version of Danny's college years, especially since it wouldn't be that much of an extreme time skip (five years at most). So much potential!
I use to be a kid when I watch Danny phantom, now I’m an adult, so please bring back Danny phantom but the adult version this time because we all grown up, were adult’s now.
1) Mr. Lancer swears in more adult book titles, instead of young adult 2) Dash is totally the type to brag about shoving the ghost hero into lockers on a daily basis. If he and Jazz start dating this can lead to funny interactions over dinners 3) Sam, at some point, for whatever reason, ought to phantomize herself. Like how Danny did the secret time. Her sign could be something promoting her vegan/Earth friendly lifestyle. Maybe she has to do it to save Tucker, whose suit is now being completly controlled by Technus/Skulker. Or to save Danny from a professor trying to harvest his ghost powers. 4) image Vlad sneaks his way back to earth and possesses a life like robotic body to avoid being found out and becomes a professor. His secret is discovered when his old gray tabby cat Maddie, who is now the school mascot and hangs out around the university, goes from sweet and loving to angry and defensive, causing Vlad to jump and burn his robot body or spill something on it. Or even better it just slowly starts to glitch and malfunction until he's discovered. 5) Fairly Odd Parents cameos!!!

Being the good friend to both Danny and Sam finds a way to allow Sam and himself to be a half ghost after a few years studying both Danny, Sam's and him self's genetic make up. While also being able to collect all the required genetic and daily life info to take into consideration the different environmental and hormonal factors from Sam's, Danny's and him self's life to allow him to. That is with the help of some really rare compound that, unfortunately only has enough to turn either himself or Sam into a half ghost but something goes wrong and he has to use it to save Sam because one of Danny's enemies or new enemies tries to get to Danny through the use of Sam since she is Dannys girlfriend now.
God can we just have this as a series already? I miss Danny Phantom and you just keep busting out amazing ideas for it. It's hurts man, ya making me want something that ain't possible.

I know this video came out a few years ago but I'm still in full support to revitalize Danny Phantom. There is so much potential with a modern day version of the show. Always loved the art style for the ghosts, specifically Ember and Evil Danny. But I don't mind a bit of evolution in design. I seriously hope we can get the college years and maybe even the adult years where they have children. Plenty of stories to tell but one step at a time I suppose. Make a Villian that isn't a ghost, but isn't human either. I would love to see a more expansive universe now that he is more well known, perhaps there are forces besides the ghost zone and the human world, a third or fourth party, if you will.
A Villian who perhaps is simply something Danny hasn't faced before. With skills and abilities that aren't ghost based that he hasn't ever had to deal with before.
Yes, and if there are other villains in this universe, that naturally means Danny could meet up with other heroes, and learn to work with them.
Wait I have a better idea then my first one. What if when they phased the meteor through the planet some of the ghost plasma radiation, or whatever kinda mumbo jumbo you wanna use , infected humans across the planet and they inherent a diverse range of ghost abilities. Some can fly, some can phase through things, others can body hop and now Danny not only has to endure his new found fame but also take responsibility of all these people developing abilities because of him. Maybe have some organization collecting these people developing abilities and it’s a race to get to them first. Maybe have the public turn against him because of everything that’s happened.

And, like, Cosmo and Wanda could disguise themselves as students and help protect Timmy AND Danny from prying eyes, and then all of their friends still don't know about the fairies and that becomes the secret the main characters have to maintain and keep hidden from the world. 🤯

I just finished rewatching Danny Phantom. This is my favorite show as a kid and I would love for it to continue. My one thought though about everybody knowing his secret, can’t he wish from Desiree to make everyone forget his real identity but keep the fact that he saved the world? Let those he’d want to know his secret remember it but the rest forget about his identity?
I hope Hulu can pick this up and continue season 4, maybe start with a time jump to their HS graduation or 1st day at College. Either way would work. I’d love for Danny Phantom to continue for a few more years or a few more seasons for closure...

Actually that doesn't really matter. You have schools such as Baylor University, Texas A&M University, and so much more. BU works, so why wouldn't FU or PU? After all, a University is just a name anyways, it's its reputation that matters/makes the school.
You know Butch,in a way the scenario you described on how Danny lives his life in this after series kinda feels similar to how Ben 10 lives his life because Ben 10 also deals with trying to live a normal life but also deals with the pressures of being a celebrity at the same time.

I think Danny should be mildly muscular now from all the hero work he has done or that he's not and dash is now bullying him over that but also trying to get him into shape so he can be a better hero.
This is solely my opinion but with the physical stress he could encounter with those years, he may not have a muscular body really that shown, I think the drawing would probably be accurate.
But his physique would be tougher than before so I think dash bullying him would be inaccurate
So perhaps the stress did keep him small and that's the problem so dash in his unique flavor is trying to eradicate the problem and with eventual and gradual success.

I use to be a kid when I watch Danny phantom, now I’m an adult, so please bring back Danny phantom but the adult version this time because we all grown up, were adult’s now.
1) Mr. Lancer swears in more adult book titles, instead of young adult
2) Dash is totally the type to brag about shoving the ghost hero into lockers on a daily basis. If he and Jazz start dating this can lead to funny interactions over dinners
3) Sam, at some point, for whatever reason, ought to phantomize herself. Like how Danny did the secret time. Her sign could be something promoting her vegan/Earth friendly lifestyle. Maybe she has to do it to save Tucker, whose suit is now being completly controlled by Technus/Skulker. Or to save Danny from a professor trying to harvest his ghost powers.
4) image Vlad sneaks his way back to earth and possesses a life like robotic body to avoid being found out and becomes a professor. His secret is discovered when his old gray tabby cat Maddie, who is now the school mascot and hangs out around the university, goes from sweet and loving to angry and defensive, causing Vlad to jump and burn his robot body or spill something on it.
Or even better it just slowly starts to glitch and malfunction until he's discovered.
5) Fairly Odd Parents cameos!!!
Problem with #3, Butch revealed the accident would have killed Sam or Tucker. Only certain people can become halfas
@@kylerbelshaw1465 That is true but Tucker being a genius with access to a lot of funds because he is a great mayor that has advanced the town by years ahead of most of the world. Being the good friend to both Danny and Sam finds a way to allow Sam and himself to be a half ghost after a few years studying both Danny, Sam's and him self's genetic make up. While also being able to collect all the required genetic and daily life info to take into consideration the different environmental and hormonal factors from Sam's, Danny's and him self's life to allow him to. That is with the help of some really rare compound that, unfortunately only has enough to turn either himself or Sam into a half ghost but something goes wrong and he has to use it to save Sam because one of Danny's enemies or new enemies tries to get to Danny through the use of Sam since she is Dannys girlfriend now.
