Each support move and palico skill is part of a "set" and they can only be replaced with another of the same set. For example, you cannot replace Sumo Stomp with Pitfall Purr-ison, or Negate Poison with Earplugs. Each Palico comes ingrained with the amount of each category it has (for example some of my Palicos don't have any Group A moves inherently and thus can never learn them without being taught from another Palico, taking up one of those slots)
I've never seen this information organized in this way (Kiranico only lists them by what type they are (offense/defense/support), not by which group they're in) so I'll post them below. This took a long time to figure out. If I've missed anything let me know. This obviously doesn't include any class-exclusive or event-only moves/skills.
    *Support Moves*
Group A - Health Horn, Giga Barrel Bombay, Anti Monster Mine+, Shock Purr-ison, Pitfall Purr-ison, Pilfer, Rath-of-Meow
Group B - Detox Horn, Big Barrel Bombay, Flash Bombay, Anti Monster Mine, Trampoliner, Vase of Vitality, Weapon Upgrade, Go Fight Win, Claw Dance, Mega Boomerang, Far-cat-ster, SP Horn, Furbidden Acorn
Group C - Ultrasonic Horn, Barrel Bombay, Parting Gift, Big Boomarangs, Dung Bombay, Soothing Roll, Explosive Roll, Felyne Comet, Sumo Stomp, Chestnut Cannon, Shock Tripper, Excavator, Furlask of Healing, Burrowing Blow, Stunt Cannon, Iron Transpurrter, Explosive Transpurrter, Widewhiskers Horn
    *Palico Skills*
Group A - Omniresistance, Element Up, Status Up, Support Priority, Support Move +1, Revival Pro, Anger Prone
Group B - Attack Up L, Defense Up L, Guard Up L, Critical Up L, Knockout King, Support Boost, Negate Stun, Earplugs, Nine Lives (Attack), Counter Boost, Extend Fury, Artful Dodger
Group C - Health Up S, Critical Up S, Stamina Drain, Negate Poison/Wind/Paralysis/Confusion/Sleep, Tremor Res, Biology, Iron Hide, Non-stick Fur, Nine Lives (Defense), Boomerang Pro, Goldenfish Catcher, Extra Bomb Blasts

As an addendum, Palicos cannot learn moves or skills they already know. That might seem obvious but it has a hidden utility, because this includes moves that it's been taught by other Palicos. If you're trying to force one of your Palico's inherent moves/skills to something specific, you can teach it moves/skills from the same "group" from other Palico, thereby reducing the pool retraining has to draw from. This is especially useful if you're trying to get something specific from Move Group C, for example. If I wanted Dung Bombay, and it didn't already know, say, Excavator and Parting Gift, I could just teach it those two from another Palico, increasing the chance that Dung Bombay will be learned when retraining by removing Excavator and Parting Gift from the pool.
Why do this? Well, that way, I can use the two slots that my Palico has (you can delete the "decoy skills" later to make room) to teach it moves that it CAN'T learn, rather than wasting them on moves that it technically could.

In addition! You can earn an item that will allow you to choose what move your Palico will learn (from the same group). I am not sure of ALL the quests that give this item, but one of them is Basarios Chestbreaker (I think that's the quest name. Regardless, the goal is to break/wound Basarios's chest). This is a High Rank village Prowler quest. In order to unlock most of the Prowler quests you have to do other Prowler quests, especially from previous ranks. Basically, the more Prowler quests you complete, the more quests you unlock.
