I wouldn't call Excavator a "support move", it's been used against me countless times by the palicos. Well... i'm wrong, it is a Support Move, but it support the Monsters and not the Hunter nor the other palico.

I once saw a charisma cat with Palico rally Go fight win Big boomerang Piercing boomerang Mega boomerang Shock trap Boomerang pro Revival pro Support move+1 Support boost Max lvl in generations and this prowler had okami set with Silverwind weapon hr and they built their max gauge they popped palico rally, then go fight win, 1 shock trap and the rest of mega boomerangs I asked for the build but they told me to build it myself but it's how I got fire emblem dlc set in 2016
I'm not sure which one actually deals more damage, but I will say that I like burrowing blow much more. Mostly because Felyne Comet has no invisibility frame while Burrowing Blow does. Also, since Burrowing Blow is an aerial attack, you can mount monsters with it.
Love prowler mode!!!! So helpful during hunts. And if the monster removes the paintball the prowler can find them. The cats don't have to replace items unlike the hunters..

Yup, it isnt very powerful though. The motion values are low. But still very fun to use.
