If you can, try downloading "Ping's MH4G Dex" which is a helpful program that has info and pics on all/most equipment in the game

Yup, it's in the EU/US version and you get the tickets that are required for it from a Hardcore Gogmazios Event quest.

Nah, you won't miss it. DLC distribution starts in March for EU/US and even JP players haven't gotten the quest yet so it will probably take quite a while until it's available here haha

Can’t believe I grinded for every single set at age 9. No regrets. At all.
Edit: I wanted to explain before it feels like Im lying. When I was 9 and up until I was 11 I was hospitalized so I had a lot of freetime. In addition I made a lot of friends at one point and got a lot of help from them including joining a high ranking guild at the time. I also watched a lot of videos and got lots of time to improve. I also got into modded lobby very early on and was given the kaiser X set at litteraly HR 4 so I had a very easy time through all of high rank. I kept playing until I was 12 and by that point I had hit HR 999. I needed shit to do while hitting 999 so I went out and hunted down every set. Sad part is I sold off the copy of it for fucking 3$ to a gamestop years ago.)
I bet I had you on my friends list. I did the same thing back then, but I continued to play, just helping out new players lol.

I love how they designed these armors with different races and cultures in mind (Knights, Samurai, Vikings, Barbarians). I especially like the East Asian influences like what they did with the Najarala armor which is clearly a reference to the NAGA serpent dancers of Thailand. Pretty cool.

@@youraveragepasser-by7367 The quest structure is just so boring. I like to sink my teeth into single player and then go online but I get so bored doing all those quests. As much as people make fun of the stories in mh. I actually like them because it gives you a goal and purpose besides hunting the same monster over again, but mhgu doesn't have a story. It's not a terrible game it's just not catching me like the others. For some reason I can play mh4 or mh3 and have a much better time all the way to g again.
@@youraveragepasser-by7367 I personally think generations is a great game to start with after MHW because you get to experience a whole different way of hunting with all the styles and special attacks so if you're gonna get an older game I'd say go for GenU

Pardon my ignorance on the subject, but what exactly are the ex and gx sets? what does it mean and how would i go about getting them?
Late reply, but EX and GX sets are generally DLC or challenge based sets which require you (Generally) to earn a ticket from the special mission, which is used in crafting the armour set.
As an example, the EX gore set (Which looks very nice)
To craft that you must earn Gore Magala tickets. You can't attain them normally, but they are obtained in the free DLC quest "Out of time"
The mission rewards contain some tickets that are used to create the EX armour set.

15:35 That pic of brachydios x does not do it justice. The chestpiece looks like something out of an armored core game. Very sleek with shoulder fins slicked back and protruding out. Simply amazing!

I just got into high rank. And it was soooo hard scraping together materials to form a high rank armor. It's not even a proper set lmao, an armor consisting of parts from hermitaur, tetsucabra and kecha lollll. Well as long as the defense is at least 40 for each part it'll do for now
I am really made that some of the end game armor sets look great but have the worst set up of skills ever. Like the Grand Gloaming, it makes you look like a badass Shogun but the skills it has are so fucking horrendous and is like they just throw on skills to the set.

I just went into 10 Star Caravan quests and just went HR7 in the Gathering hall. I was curious on G rank armors because some didn't show on the MH wikia. I know from previous MH games that I still got a lot of grinding and work cut out to get to some of those last ones shown. Thanks for putting this together.
I hate that as a Lancer I'm expected to wear fatty armour with Guard until I can get to a point where I can get evasion and evade distance up armour :_:

Can some help me .. I got Monster Hunter 4 unlimited. I've been playing like 2 months already or 3. And i got Gogma helm. And Towering Demise. I play more online. When i play online it says i played 3hrs . There's some people that are calling me a hacker. But I'm not. I don't even have a computer to hack the game. And they keep kicking me out some of them but I didn't hack nothing. The only thing that I do know that i play a lot. And last time i played on a level I don't remember which one. And when the mission was over I got a lot of items. It was me and 3 other online players that play on that level. I'm still kind of new to the game . So can someone please explain how I got those weapons cuz they said that I'm not supposed to have those equipment cuz it say online I'm 3 hrs.
Probably irrelevant now since the comment is 4 years old but if you played with a few people and you got tons of items in those quests, then these guys probably created custom quests and integrated them into his game to play them with other people and help them get materials that you would only rarely get late game. Maybe you used those materials to craft gear that you shouldn't have been able to own yet, that's why others assumed you were a hacker. Idk about this 3hr playtime thing tho, seems really fishy to me

Which 3ds system you use for Let's Play MH4U? is it a new 3ds or standard 3ds?
if it is the latter then it's all good, since i don't notice any fps drop.
But, i'd like to ask anyway, do you notice any fps drop?
There are no New 3DS capture cards available yet, so pretty much everything you see that isn't official Nintendo feed is recorded on the old 3DS. And yeah, I notice framerate issues especially in multiplayer that might be a bit hard to catch unless you're playing the game (realizing the input lag etc.)

I always wished this would be what female armor variations were like. Slight changes but doesn't lose the core design. Making them all dresses or revealing armor felt cheap

When is the event for the Star Knight stuff? The Kiranico site says you can trade Mega Armorskins for the Special Pass but he wont trade with me =/
I usually complain how female armor are unpractical but jeez the male armor is ridiculously bulky, show faces at least.
They're useful to protect your face, in sacrifice of a bigger sight.

You can try setting your country to US, but I am not sure if it'll work.
I can't find out how to make the Akantor Legs for my set, i can't even see it in the list, but i've made every other part of the Akantor armor. Does anyone why that is?

Eine Frage zur Arc X Armor: Mir ist aufgefallen das die Lila/Bläulich ist, anstatt weiss golden wie die Low und High Rank armor... normalerweise kann man ja nur die Farbe einiger Details, nicht einer ganzen Rüstung ändern... dennoch würde ich gerne wissen, ob es möglich ist die Arc X einfärben kann... geht das?
does someone want to be a darl and tell me how many hours it would take to get the last few armour sets? i have 5 hours of it - from getting it 6 hours ago - and i already want the top tier stuff :')
Depending on how frequently and efficiently you play, whether the desire sensor is kind to you or not etc, you're still looking at maybe 200 hours + playtime.
If anybody has the Star Knight armor dlc thing plz share it with meh. I need the armor for my collection!!
Why can't you do the quest? The DLC is free, you just need to download it go to the "Event quests" tab in G2 for the star knight set. The quest for it is USJ, a colourful feast.
It bums me out that we don't get a Guild Bard X set and a lot of the EX sets as G-Rank, but I guess all the other ones they included make up for it.

What's the difference between armor and their "s" counterpart?
"S" and "U" are generally high rank armor which mean more defense and skill, while "X" and "Z" are for G rank armor , also there some part of the armor that you can change the color,

Why can't I get the full armour set for zinogre
Im g2 now but i cant find these armor? do u unlock them if u fight the monsters in caravan?
No, as long as you are getting the monster part and hunting a lot they should unlock.
Caravan doesn't unlock any new armours.
9:17 haha that's pretty cool that armor set on the left defiantly is suppose to resemble the generic portrayal of takeda shingen, it even has the the takeda family symbol on it
