How i mostly see this battle.
To think that all these years ago this was the video that got me to learn Charge Blade, and that it would become my favorite weapon in gaming period. This run was awesome.

Hi Akantorex, can u tell me how can i do the move you did in minute 0:50? because when im in red shield and press X+A i do the ultra discharge, and i lose all phials. I want to lose only one phial like u did.

António Barbosa you have to pull back on your circle pad when going into ultra and mash x to cancel into super

Wie schaffst du es, dass du nach dem block die normale x,a,r-attacke machst und nicht die waffe mit dem finischer entlädst ?

you've probably figured it out by now, but you can dump charged phials into your shield by cancelling an AED with R (see 0:31)
I have a question, @1:03 how do you cancel from ultra to super and change direction at the same time ? I can't seem to cancel to super when I change the direction of the attack X_X
During the startup for the ultra pull back on the D-pad (in relation to your Hunter) and mash on X, won't waste your shield boost and has some nice KO damage :)
This annoys me, I wonder why they didn't just make it so that X alone turns it into an AED.
Why the way he blocked he stand still but no skill of guard???
You mean when he guarded but didn't hold the block button? Those were Guard Points, points in some animations where the shield is in front of you and can block an attack more effectively than a standard guard. From these you can charge your shield, morph into axe mode, or go right into an Elemental Discharge.
You don’t need guard+1 to withstand Gores attacks with a charged CB

Hi Akantorex, i already learn do the super discharge. can u tell me how you do the attack on minute 2:55 while in blade mode? u change to axe mode after block attack, how do you do that? thanks
António Barbosa it's a counterattack aka guard point attack. Block an attack then press both X and A
Whats the combination to do super burst while in sword and sheild mode?? Been trying to figure this out for a while. Hahah ive done it while in axe mode without releasing ultra.
Change your orientation to style 2, then when u do the burst press down and tap x rapidly as it the weapon burst starts
, then u can work on timing it right so u won't have rapidly press down n x

So i what i did was GP, X+A, X+circle pad down. Is there a easier way to do it?? Very hard to get the timing down between x+a and x+circle pad down so that it does not release Ultra Burst. I must practice xD

to get Challenger +2, Honed Blade, Razor Sharp, and Artillery Novice? What would be the minimum talisman needed?
I am not 100% sure but you might need an Sharpness +5 OOO Charm at least.
+AkantoreX Infinitus So what charm would I exactly need? Sharpness + 5 OO- is actually kind of easy to get.
I don't know what charm you EXACTLY need, but the one I suggested might be enough.
+Lux Sandre I'm a bit late here but if you are still wondering you need sharpness +4 or spirit +4 with 3 slots. Also if you have at least +6 spirit on your talisman and 3 slots, you can change rathalos greaves for white fatalis feet and get expert +1 on True Ruiner Reaver which is pretty much the only good charge blade with enough slots for that.

Man muss vorher etwas Blocken, ob durch Guard point oder regulären Block ist egal.
+AkantoreX also ich hab all deine videos mit cb gesehen und das Tutorial von gaijiin,...wenn ich während dem angecharged werden x+r drücken,geht er trotzdem in den axtmodus und mich haut es um. wenn ich normal blocke,schupst er mich 3 meter weiter weg,trotzdem macht er dann nich sofort den auflade angriff,selbst bei gedrückten x+a, ...kannst du mir da weiter helfen -.- sry aber werd nich schlau draus

Da müsste es glaube ich bei der Zeit auch eine Rolle spielen, wo man am Anfang spawnt. Sicher hätte man auch ganz oben beim Nest spawnen können und müsste erst den ganzen Weg laufen.

Wenn ich im Geheimgebiet spawne, brech ich den Run direkt ab.
Im Nest kann ich noch zu den Katzen runterspringen und dann weiter zum Gorilla.
Um ehrlich zu sein, die paar Sekunden langsamer wären eh egal. Es gibt von 4U so wenig Videos, im Vergleich zu PSP Titeln, weil keine Sau eine CC hat, dass ich sogar einen 10 Minuten Run hinkacken könnte und trotzdem einer der schnellsten Runs auf YT hätte.
+AkantoreX Infinitus Eine PSP lässt sich locker emulieren. Bei einer 3DS müsstest du 'mal eben den doppelten Preis der Konsole "latzen," nur um einen Speedrun veröffentlichen zu können.

+AkantoreX how do you charge your shield 0:30 - 0:33 ?
Shield bash (X+A) + discharge (X+A) + cancel/GP (R). If you don't cancel, it will do an ultra burst (super if shield is not charged). You can superburst in red shield mode as well by spamming X and using the circle pad in the direction opposite of where your hunter is facing.

Keep in mind this no longer works in monster hunter generations, you will only be able to go into the yellow shield, and you can't go into an ultra/super from sword mode. Supers, ultras and red shield charge can only be initiated from axe mode in MHGen. Cheers

warum ist heroics bei den speedkills nicht mehr zu sehen ?
Mit den Random-Spawns, das Essenseffekte beim neustarten nicht gestartet werden und das jedes Monster mit jedem kack Chip-Damage macht, macht mit Heroics spielen ziemlich nervig.
+AkantoreX Infinitus Ein Speedkill mit dem Roten Superrajang wäre doch sicher etwas für dich. =) Leider ist er bislang nur in der Monster Hunter Frontier Serie zu sehen. Genau so wie die Hypnocatrice - mit Ausnahmen von Freedom Unite.
+AkantoreX Infinitus Okay Arnold. Wie wäre es dann mit Adrenaline +2 runs?
+Red Phoenix Wäre eine Option. Warte aber noch bis Athena den Palico Bro Helm in ihren ASS implementiert. Hab keinen guten Tali mit Adrenalin und die Lederleggins sehen mir zu sehr nach einer Nacht im der Gay Bar aus.
