I've never been to a canyon before, and as a young boy i thought to my self that the landscape is really intriguing and i want to visit it sometime in the future. After watching this video, it reminded me of my younger self's desire to visit and see a canyon right before my eyes. I feel like this video really captured the beauty of a canyon. Thank you for documenting your travels and sharing it with us!
So what if it's not millions of years, But there was a flood and all of this was created out of the receding waters? Something to think about outside the box.
The video presents stunning views of Canyonlands National Park, showcasing the beauty of nature and landscapes that can be enjoyed with a dog despite some restrictions on hiking trails. It's a perfect destination for anyone looking to experience the beauty of nature and enjoy the grandeur of the canyons. Additionally, having the right partner to share the experience with can make the trip even more enjoyable
As a swede 🇸🇪 where there’s basically no need to apply to visit our nature reserves (only talks of it at certain places I think), nor any regulations against dogs (only horses at certain paths), I’m amazed with these humongous and vast landscapes, which then hold so little people. I get it at certain places - like Angel’s Landing - but not allowing for Sierra or people without passes, having these empty places - it feels overly regulated. People can manage themselves and behave respectfully most often. Such a shame for anyone to miss any of this,.. Thanks for sharing though, once again! Amazing scenery! Always enjoyable to watch your channel, guys!! 👍
that's the exact way I discovered the Canyonlands National Park last Year in April - driving and seeing as much as possible. Next Year I will be staying more than 2 Days there and "dig" deeper. Thx from Germany for this Video
It surprises me how few the visitors are there. We spent almost a week in Moab in April and love it so much. There are lots of fun hikes in the Canyonlands NP (esp. in the Needles district).
This video hits me in the feels. I'm from Ohio too and remember being in my late 20s when I first started backpacking and Canyonlands was one of the early trips for my friend and I. I'll never forget how much a visual impact it had. I also vividly remember thinking that "although I've never seen the Grand Canyon, I can't imagine it being much better than this" as we camped over the Green River. I'm now pushing 50 and Utah and the desert Southwest will always be a special place to me. My friend has sadly stopped backpacking for health reasons and while solo camping is possible, its not the same. You guys have no idea how special it is to have friends to share these trips with, how fleeting these years are, and how much you will miss this period of your life when you look back decades later. Please savor it.
If you go to Arch yeah that one. Go left around the Hulk bowl, it takes a minute. Also from ranch side overlook you can go left all the way down walk out of slottish canyon into area below Arch. Takes a minute. Take gallon of water if hot minimum. Each.
Moab Dead Horse down the spee iiider under the rock is great drive as is out to Gemini Arch and Schaefer Trail. BUT I love the La Sals. The backside approach is way easier than from Gold Basin. Way better camping area. In the winter the front side Gold Basin is better if road is semi plowed up to big parking lot.
The river cutting a canyon may be the old model for some places in the U.S- though not to say it didnt happen here. Inconceivable amount of glacial flood water is what looks to be how the scablands of washington state were formed, Randall Carlson's work on the matter is more fleshed out research anyway.
Did a Utah NP Trip in 2021, the only one I didn't get to was Canyonlands bc I prioritized seeing Goblin valley state park and dead horse state park instead ! But dang!!!! No I need to go back just for Canyonlands 🥹
Wow Thanks guys! Ok, obviously you have nice camera equipment. The stuff from Canyonlands is epic! A few of the held shots across those infinity canyons truly waxed with the cinematographic style of a feature length film. I'm So so happy I watched on my big tv. I suspect Robbie is guilty of sliding that in under the radar. Most Excellent work, fine Sirs!
I spent 3 days at the Grand Canyon and I sometimes wonder if it’s possible to overdose on never ending grandeur. This is bringing back a lot of memories.
Love your stuff!! The Moab area is so beautiful. I've been twice--most recently was fall/winter 2020, where my family wanted to get outdoors and do some hiking for just two or three days. A front blew in the last day, and when we went to Dead Horse Point it was very drizzly and extremely foggy, which actually just enhanced my photos by making it look mysterious. We had to save a couple of hikers at the overlook who had hiked around the rim from their campsite and didn't realize the front was blowing in. They were wet and freezing and needed a ride back to the Visitor's Center. We left the next day early in the morning from Moab and it was snowy and about 20F, and it snowed on us all the way back to Texas. The road you saw from the overlooks was probably the White Rim Road, which is very popular with motorcyclists, cyclists, and 4wd enthusiasts. My dad wanted to ride it on his motorcycle which is why we went the last time.
Nice video. That was me. I've now been 6 times and still discover new things and areas each trip. You'll have to come back and discover all the trails. Not a super dog friendly area though and also, there are mountain lions about in the canyons- be careful with your beautiful dog. Never let him out of your sight...as in more than 10 feet away. When I hike in the canyons e.g., Long Canyon I see fresh lion prints all the time- near the water sources. Fortunately they rarely ever bother people. You won't see them but they see you. They hunt the big horn sheep.
You guys need to spend a week in S. Utah and N. Arizona. Go see antelope island: One, it is likely one of the 10 true natural wonders of the world. Two, it support the indigenous people and listen to their stories. It is the true history of this country.

fun video as always, but if you see this robbie, then you gotta go back to the grand canyon. one of the grandest things you will ever see(no pun intended)
I love this part of the country and was just there 2 weeks ago. Love that RV site with the arches windows in the distance and just outside of the road to Canyonlands. Is all the footage from that area ? because it looked like horseshoe canyon was used two-3 times in the clips. That’s down at Page and hours away …. not to take away from the rest of the pertinent footage. Enjoyed the Canyonlands trip. Great hikes and bouldering Didn’t hit Dead Horse due to time
i like the way u think Robby...what will the earth look like in 10k years...ive written a story about it..what do u think it will look like..write a story!
You missed driving the totally incredible Shaffer Canyon Road……the drive down and back up is amazing! Our favorite part of Canyonlands Island in the Sky. We did stay in a yurt there too!
Looking forward to this episode on my lunch break. We stayed a week in Utah. A few nights at arches, a night at dead horse and a night in Canyonlands after rafting down the rivers section and a night by the needles section. Our backcountry night on Murphy’s point and our planned Needles section had some technical difficulties so we had to bail. We definitely want to go back to Canyonlands, we have unfinished business! Saturday we leave for Cuyahoga, Niagara Falls SP, Acadia, Mt. Washington, and Shenandoah though!!
Watching now! Just saw where you talked about the parts of the park- some consider the rivers the fourth section. You have the two rivers, the confluence and you can raft and camp it! We ended up flying out of there off a little 6 seater plane on the side of a hill to get back to Moab after our rafting trip- definitely recommend it! Bringing back memories today thanks
In 10,000 years, according to God’s word, sin and death will have already been a thing of the past for 9000 years. God has also at that time recreated the Earth and restored it to better than Edenic beauty. “The great controversy is ended. Sin and sinners are no more. The entire universe is clean. One pulse of harmony and gladness beats through the vast creation. From Him who created all, flow life and light and gladness, throughout the realms of illimitable space. From the minutest atom to the greatest world, all things, animate and inanimate, in their unshadowed beauty and perfect joy, declare that God is love.” GC 678.3
Great job you two!! As for the stash Thomas, you just have to be patient, grow it out then wait awhile then shave it off do this 3 or 4 times it should grow in the way you want it, I mean Ive had one now for 50 years now!! Keep up the good work guys, let Andrew and his brother out once in awhile!!!
Grandpoint View doesn’t disappoint! You eyes almost can’t comprehend. Amazing
Thomas! The mustache looked pretty stellar! Bring it back!

Others have commented on the videography and editing, but I have to say the music just keeps getting better and better too.

I'm sorry happy to see you hiked at the Canyanlands.
Moustache or not, Thomas is such a likeable dude
Really enjoyed this guys. Thomas you are a wonderful dog dad. Robby you make a great travel buddy. Thanks
I was just in Canyonlands (as well as Arches, Capitol Reef, and Grand Tetons) in June with my family. Canyonlands is such an underrated park.

It’s hard to grasp the vast ness of the area you just visited . amazing! Not sure the central Australia could compete . Thanks
Been here! My favorite part of the United States!!
EVERY MOTEL BATHROOM is nicer than my bathroom at home! 🤣
I love your music!!!
Love the video and love Thomas t-shirt 😍😉
So cool! We had to do the same thing last year on our way to NM/CO. Take turns. Lol! Beautiful mother nature. 🙂

I enjoyed your video! Moab is one of my favorite places to explore. I have made numerous videos on my adventures in the Moab area.
Take me with you! 😀
Robby‘s gonna be the most useful person on this planet when he’s in his senior years, his wisdom will be fire… 🫡🍻🤙🏼🤘🏼
My logo has everything to do with what you just said about the future 👍🏼🤝🏽🦾

If you go here GO TO GEMINI!!!!! 2.
And drive down at least three curves on Schaefer Trail.
Robbie: "We have to come back here and back country camp."
Me: "I'm DOWN for that video!"
Thank You Both, for taking us all along. Marvelous footage ~
Enjoyed the video. Looking forward to the rest of the trip! Thanks!!!
Adventure Pawchives?
Very nice 👍
Love watching you guys. You make me smile at your exuberance and youthful joy. 🤗☺️🙏

This filming and editing is getting outrageously good. Very enjoyable. Thank you.
OMG, I NEED TO JOIN YOU GUYS!
You guys never disappoint, thanks AA!!! 🤗
Enjoyed tour video. Next time you are at Canyonlands you've got to do the Schaffer Trail and/or the White Rim Trail. That's a great road trip.
This is the hardest normcore I've ever seen! How did this get into my feed? Is the Algo steering me?
Wow Thanks guys! Ok, obviously you have nice camera equipment.

Love the music/editing in these road trip videos. Sierra adds cuteness just by sleeping in the car.
Respect Robbie! That's the thing I will miss the most as well.
You guys have a CD with episode music on it? I’d buy one😉
Breathtaking otherworldly views! Can’t beat Mother Nature for spectacular formations. Thanks for the trip as on we go……. ❤️❤️
A*M*A*Z*I*N*G as usual. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
You're getting better and better. Top notch video.
This is so timely, I literally just got back from Canyonlands, grabbed some food, and then saw this video pop up on my feed!
Wow! So good! And the music was too!
I spent 3 days at the Grand Canyon and I sometimes wonder if it’s possible to overdose on never ending grandeur. This is bringing back a lot of memories.
Excellent job, capturing canyon lands. Really beautiful place.

We loved Island in the Sky so much more than the Grand Canyon. It just keep dipping down and looks so much bigger and beautiful.

I live in Utah. Some of my best hikes/backpack trips were in southern Utah. Endless scenery.
Incredible vistas. Some of those basins look bigger than my whole country hah.
Thank you for sharing!

This makes me want to go back to Utah so baaad 😫
I think it’s the Green River not the Colorado??
You'll be able to see what these places look like in 10,000 years once you respawn 100+ times first.
Oh you'll know Robby didn't you see cloud Atlas😌
