I heard you crazies use 2oz! I use 1/2-3/8 and at most 3/4 and we’re jigging in 20-30’ tops. I find the lethargic Kings respond better to smaller/lighter jigs than going heavier. Think it’s just the sink rate thing.
Wow. I'd heard most of lake Michigan is well over 50 feet deep. I'm kinda shocked y'all are staying so shallow, when deeper water is readily available inland. That's fascinating.
What depths are you guys jigging in over there? And what weight jig are you using? On michigan side 2 oz is common in 20-30ft water.
