So crazy the timing on this video haha! I just recently sold my D3000 after buying it back in 22'. Was my first real DSLR and helped me learn so much as a beginner!
I have D3000 and never really learned how to use it. Thought it was too old for 2024, but i was wrong. Thanks for your video. It has refreshed my memory and taught me a lot!
I just bought a D3000. Friday I bought my Wife a Canon rebel 550D. Different style cameras and we are both so excited to shoot photos together everywhere we go.
I bought mine way back in 2010 and had used it for a good 5 years. Then came a break for many years and I lost my touch with photography. After 10 years, Im getting back into photography with the old camera and I came here looking for reviews and this video just perfectly summed up my questions.
THANK YOU! so much, im just learning and it was my late dad's camera, I thought it was quite old and maybe needed something new and better, even to start, so this video was really helpful to keep this camera and start learning!
You're welcome! I'm glad this video helped! The D3000 is an awesome camera to start with. Don't let others tell you "it's outdated"...because the best camera you have is the one in your hands! Have fun with it and THANK YOU for sharing your experiences with it.
I’ve been gifted a D3000 by mom recently because I’ve been doing film photography. Unfortunately since my film camera was my Grandma’s, it wasn’t used a lot and sat a lot. So that camera was bound to fail and break which it did. I was devastated when it broke but then I started using my D3000. To take away the sadness from my film camera breaking. And this gave me new insight on how capable this camera is. I have taken some good photos with it but with auto-mode. Now seeing how much freedom manual mode has I’ll be able to develop my own style of photography. Thank you!
Thank you so much for this video. I’ve had a D3 thousand in my closet for years. Bought it brand new and never really got into it. Finally getting back into photography and thrilled to hear that this is still a good camera when I bought it. It was about $900 with a couple of lenses, I need some lenses for it now but glad to know the camera is a good one for beginners. Thanks again.
Glad this video helped. I still use my D3000 here and there when I don't want to bring the other cameras. Still a VERY great camera to learn and grow with. Enjoy it!
Really appreciate this video! I just got this camera today because my dad didn't use his and he knew I have slowly started getting interested in photography lately. This was a perfect video because I wanted to know more about the camera and if its actually still decent or not and a few tips to start understanding cameras and photography better without anything too advanced or technical. This vid killed two birds with one stone. Thank you for a great vid
I'll always be keeping my D3000. Was my first ever DSLR and a gift from my mum. At the time it was the newest entry level they did and it cost about £400 I believe. I've changed all my lenses to AF-S but also FX so that they can all interchange between my D3000 and D3S. I use the D3000 these days mainly to take advantage of the crop factor when I want to get a closer view of a subject far away, but that's not to say that there isn't something special about the image that it's CCD sensor produces. I can't quite put my finger on it, but the D3S CMOS seems almost a little flatter or something? Less character comparatively maybe?
Totally agree with you about the images from the CCD sensor. There's just something that gives those images a "unique" characteristic. :) Thank you for sharing! Appreciate it.
Hey got my D3000 as a gift from my best friend. I love to take pictures of nature and I’m a rookie in the field so I love tips you gave. I will definitely use all this advice and watch some more videos. Thank you.
Nice! It's a great camera to learn with. Have FUN with it. Don't let other high-ego photographers tell you that you have an "old" camera because the best camera you have, is the one in your hands. Glad this video helped.
Muchas gracias!! me acabo de comprar la D3000 y es mi primera camara, me encanta!!! la mia vino con un lente 18-140 y me encanta el resultado de las fotos, estoy muy feliz.
Thank you for the great information. I found a used D3000 on FB Marketplace for $75 and this me make the decision to try and purchase. I am just starting out and don’t have a ton of money to get started.
I hope the video helped. The D3000 still holds up today and with a decent lens, you can get images from it. Have fun with it. And learn as much as you can with it. Don't let other photographers tell you that you NEED a new camera. Learn photography basics, like composition and lighting and most importantly, HAVE FUN. There is no "wrong way" to capture images.
It definitely helped. I am now trying to find one. The guy I was going to buy it from, stopped communicating and sold it to someone else. Very disappointed. Hoping to find another one that is a great deal. Thank you for the very informative video.
i have a D5600 & 7500 and i've started using this one again the only real let down for me is you can't set it to release priority which can be annoying if it can't lock focus and refuses take the picture. Also a really good feature is you can set it to back button focusing. i've used this camera several times shooting theatre because one of my cameras was broken and did great even with very little light and the focus assist light turned off(which i do with every camera) 70-200mm 2.8 sigma(set to f4) on it worked beautifully, the grain isn't a problem imo i don't use noise reduction a good exposure and adjusting your black in post in raw images does the trick for me .really good starter camera and the kit lens is also great (and light)
Nice, comprehensive, and easy guide into photography . Well done 👏 ❤ Personally I would prefer any Nikon with an AF screw, so it doesn't limit lens choice. eg. D90, D200,...
I just got this from a second hand store, while i have some knowledge about the very very basic i get it because it maybe will help me to learn the basic concepts of photography. However it already have a 18-55 lens. Maybe i will look for more lens to take another photos like the moon, and thinks like that. But for start, i think it really worth it. Thank you for you video, it's very helpfull!
Thank you very much for this video. I’m seriously considering this camera as an “upgrade” from my Lumix LX5 compact camera. I’m glad to know that old tech doesn’t have to be useless anymore.
You're welcome! A decent lens will definitely improve image quality too. I always tell folks that if you have a good lens (depending on what your budget is), you will see image quality improve. This goes for any old DSLR too!
You're saving me a lot of money 😂 I also discounted this as someone still not experienced with photography (coming from film). My sister told me to use my dad's D3000, but I was all "no, I need something better"... Well, you and my sister both proved me wrong! I was more interested in lenses than camera bodies anyway, so I'll look up your recs!
Haha! Nice! Glad I can help. I'm always a proponent of getting cheaper DSLRs and lenses, especially when the latest and greatest cameras and lenses are just far too much for some people's budgets.
Thank you! I saw second hand one for £50 (just body) or around £150 for body + lense. I really wish to learn how to take pics and I think I will buy one 🙈
If you do, have fun with it :) These DSLR cameras can be overwhelming at first, so take it day by day. The D3000 is still an excellent camera to start with
Omg this was so informative. I just bought a used d3000 because I wanted to get into nature/wildlife photography for fun! I was so confused with the psam thing and exposure, all my photos of the sky show up with the clouds blinking black and I wondered why 😂😂 I’m definitely going to play around with the settings! Thanks!! 😊
Thank you very much. I have a nikon d3000 camera, but now it's 15 years old in 2024 so I'm afraid the photo quality is bad. After watching your video, I'm thinking about learning photography from this Nikon D300 camera
There really isn't "the best" lens since it really depends on your style of photography. So, it's really hard to say, especially if I don't know what your budget is as well. But a good lens to start out with would be a Sigma or Tamron 17-50 F/2.8 lens.
You're welcome! Depends what your budget is. My style of nature photography, I rely on my wide lense, the Sigma 10-20. Others could recommend a telephoto lens, like the 70-200 F/2.8 lens.
I'm torn on this video. The D3000 was my first "real" camera and I still have it today. While it's very capable, I also have a D40 and find that it's better. Even though the D40 is older, simpler and only 6mp, it handles higher ISO and white balance much better. This results in much better picture quality. Either way, these cameras from the 2007-2013 era were (and still are) awesome! They continue to prove that even with lower ISO and megapixels, great results can still be produced.
Yes, I've heard that as well between the D40 and D3000. And the D40 is 'older' too. Just goes to show the D40 still hangs with the "newer" cameras if you know what you're doing. Thanks for sharing your experiences with those cameras.
It's a very capable camera! Make sure the battery is charged up. Turn it on, put it in either AUTO mode or GUIDE mode and have fun with it. It's an excellent camera to learn with. Don't let others persuade you to 'buy a better camera'. You have yourself a great camera to play and learn with :) Have fun with it.
The autofocus is slow for being the first D3000 model. Autofocus speed really depends on how much light you're working with. In daylight, it's fine but once the sun is setting, the D3000 suffers a bit. Every camera will have issues autofocusing in very lowlight situations. The D3000, just being what it is, isn't the fastest at autofocusing fast moving subjects.
Thanks for this information and helpful vido! I am going on a safari and would like to get a compatible zoom lens, however, it sounds like there aren't any that are compatible with an autofocus. Is that correct?
Correct. You will have to get a AF-S lens from Nikon. If possible, you can try out lenses at your local camera store to see which lenses from Sigma or Tamron or Tokina will autofocus on the D3000. I hope this helps! And thank you for watching!
My wife bought D3000 in 2010 for our wedding gift, used it for in 2011.. and kept in locker since. Last year i took it out, sent it for service to clear mold and only in this few weeks actively taking it for photoshoot. Any recommendations for other lens?
It really depends on your style of photography and why kind of photos you're doing. I would still recommend a 17-50 F/2.8 lens to learn with. The 17-50 F/2.8 lens is a very versatile lens and depending on the condition it's in (from brands like Sigma, Tokina, or Tamron), you can find a few under $150. I hope this helps.
Yes, you can. You will need a fast aperture lens though. I would highly recommend getting a lens that has an aperture of F/1.4 or F/1.8. You can find a few 'fast aperture' lenses for a good price as well, since you will have to manually focus for astrophotography as well.
I have a D3000, and I can only take basic Pic because I don't know much about cameras. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The video helped which is good
Take it day by day. Test out different settings when you can. I've been where you've been and it can be really overwhelming with ALL of the different settings you can do. Just take it day by day and play with the settings and your composition. Even if you're just walking outside and taking a picture of the sky or a building or a bug on the ground, just have fun and play with the settings. You won't get better in one day but you can definitely get MUCH better by starting on day one :)
The D3000 does not have video recording capabilities. The D3100, D3200, D3300, D3400 and D3500 can video record. The D3300, D3400 and D3500 can do video streaming but I do not have the D3300, 3400 and 3500 so I don't know how to set it up from streaming.
Great video!!! I’ve had one of these for 12 years or so. I mainly use it for family parties and I struggle taking pictures of people on the dance floor for example, where it’s kind of dark and disco lights moving around. What settings would you recommend for this kind of scenario? What happens is that it “refuses” to take the picture if it’s too dark I guess. I have everything set to auto 😅
There are some factors. The camera won't take a picture if it's "sensing" the environment is too dark. Too dark = blurry images and that can be unsatisfying to the user. So, you will have to either turn on flash or understand different camera settings and autofocus modes to really capture those moments on the dance floor.
It's hard to say as there are many in that price range but only in the used market. I think an excellent camera to start out with is the Nikon D5000 or the better Nikon D7000. You can find the Nikon D7000 body for under $150 if you look at Adorama, B&H or KEH BUT read the condition the camera is in. If I had a budget of $300, I would buy the Nikon D7000 camera body for $150-$180. Then, I would buy a good all-around lens, like the Tamron 17-50 F/2.8, for $100-$120. I hope this helps!
@BoostLeekdMedia Thanks for the reply. I was able to pick up a D3300 with tons of accessories for $240. It was listed as an open box in mint condotion. However, it didn't come with a charger. I'll give her some time to see if she likes it, and if so, I'll sell off this one and get her a much better one.
I bought mine on ebay and it looks brand new. Came with a lens and case. Im building up my lenses and accessories to it. Its a really good camera and even if i ever upgrade im keeping the entire set. Dont be concerned with the age, only how functional. Im curious does anyone know what the furthest zoom lens is that will fit this camera.?
Thanks for sharing your experiences with it and 100% agree with you. Nikon's 200-500 will work with it if that's what you mean by 'furthest zoom lens'.
@@BoostLeekdMediathank you. Yes i mean the best zoom lens that i can zoom the furthest with lol its next on my list. Would love to have the entire list of lenses that fit this camera so i can make sure its all complete. Will be watching and rewatching you ❤
I still have mine got mine back in high school! not sure what I am going to do with it being I picked up a D7100. maybe a backup? its been good but like you said low light is not a strong point for this camera.
i own the camera and have used it as recently as oct 2023 to a trip to lisbon and canary islands. great pictures outside, BUT just horrible inside. for example is i am in a dark church my iphone takes GREAT pics without even trying or adjusting, the iphone just makes it happen. Why cant the nikon do this? I dont want to have to switch around 10 different functions, just to have to remember to switch back when i get back outside. can anyone help with this?
It's the automatic settings and adjustments the iphone has. The Nikon can do it but you have to manually adjust certain settings. That is the downside with modern cameras, especially if you're looking for immediate results, the learning curve. Once you understand the camera settings, the D3000 obliterates the iPhone in terms of image quality. BUT, if you need the image immediately, the iphone is good.
@@BoostLeekdMedia yeah i see your point. the thing is is sucks to put these settings on the nikon to take a certain picture, THEN you have to set it all back to take a different picture. too much hassle when im traveling and want to take quick pics inside/outside
You will need a SD card reader. Connect that SD card reader to your computer and you can transfer the pictures from your SD card to the computer using the SD card reader.
It's an entry level camera compared to the D200. The D200, I think, is still better than the D3000. In terms of overall performance, the D200 gets the win.
@@BoostLeekdMedia awesome. I just bought a d3000 from a coworker that came with the 18-55mm and a 55-200mm. I’m looking at getting a sigma 50-500 mm so I can get a little better photos at distance. The 200 does better than I expected and I’m just starting out so I’m trying to learn as much as possible.
Hi! What lenses would you recommend for more Portraits/ wedding photography? I don’t typically shoot far away landscape etc. I want to get a good lens to start off with then eventually down the road I’ll upgrade my camera.
@@CarissaBarnes-uc8ob depends on your budget. For weddings, I think a great start would be the Nikon 17-55 F/2.8. I always have a second camera body for weddings so I'm not constantly switching lenses since time is very important depending on the situation youre in during the wedding. I would also take a look at the Sigma 18-35 F1.8 lens and the Sigma 50-100 F1.8
The D80 still holds up VERY well. I just recently used it and I really do enjoy the colors from it. Attach a good lens on it and it produce very nice colors.
oh! The D70s is a very fine camera. I think it's good but there's just something about the colors from the D200/D60/D80 that makes the image "look" better compared to the D3000. The D3000's colors are good but I would still even prefer my D40. That's just me though.
Hi! I have a question. I found one near me but it’s selling over 300. I looked other places and the prices vary sooo much! You said around 100 do you think that’s still true? It comes with 2 lenses, battery, charger, case and the books. She did say it was an auto focus and I think you said it wasn’t. I’m very new to this so anything helps!
Prices vary depending on the condition it's in. Depending on what lenses they have, it should autofocus and the 2 lenses are most likely the 18-55mm and 55-200mm lenses. Those 2 should autofocus with the D3000. For $100USD, it's not a bad deal, especially if it's a good working condition and it comes with those accessories. I hope this helps.
Only way I do it is I transfer the images from the camera to my laptop/computer then transfer those images to my Google Drive or any online image storage and download the images onto my phone. Unfortunately, the D3000 does not have Bluetooth built into it.
I mate. I want to buy this camera.. Thanks for the info. Is the standard lens good enough with this camera to use in low light conditions? For example for night shots in clubs or discotheques...? Thank.
The standard lens is okay but not the best for low light conditions. I would look at zoom lenses with a constant aperture of F/2.8. For night shots (in the club or dancing) or low light situations (indoors), I would HIGHLY recommend getting an external flash, like the Nikon SB600
You can use any camera. Especially if 99% of your photos are online, no one will be able to tell the differences in image quality between a "new" camera and an "old" camera.
I don't think you can with the D3000. You will need to transfer the D3000 photos via a SD card reader to your computer/laptop. Then, you can transfer those images from your computer/laptop to your phone.
So basically I just got my d3000 I got it for 175 at my local pawn shop not to bad for a 700 camera lol anyway I used to go to ICTC and was in digital media I finally after 7 years got a camera I'm so happy I can mess around with this camera now
I'm having so much trouble figuring out how to get photos from my D3000 edited. I transfer them to my computer but they will not load in Lightroom, and they will not save to my phone without looking like one giant blob. Please help 😭 is it because they're RAW? Thank you!!
I’m a complete beginner and I have no idea what I’m doing and the shop that I went to recommended it to me but when I’m taking pics they looks so bad someone pls help meeeeee
Keep at it and don't give up! Comparison is the thief of joy :) I have been in the EXACT situation you're in. I despised my images, hated the colors, the composition and I looked at other photographer's images and told myself why I didn't get THOSE types of images. The harsh truth is that photography is a skill that takes time to grow with. I would highly suggest taking it day by day and learning the camera settings; Aperture, Shutter and ISO. It can be VERY overwhelming at first but learning the Exposure Triangle can REALLY elevate your photography skills and images. Don't give up yet! Keep at it. Take it day by day and make time for it when you can. You got this!
If the D3300 is in good shape, it's a good camera to start out with. Especially if you're brand new to photography and you want a camera to learn with.
I bought this camera back when it was new 15 years ago and never did anything with it , I want to get into using it more, so far just one shot of my cat hahahaha
@BoostLeekdMedia so I showed your video to my wife and it got me permission to buy one of the lenses you suggested, I ordered the 17-50 f2.8 it will be here just in time for our vacation 😎

Great! You're welcome!
Thanks!! 😊
You're welcome and I'm glad this video helped!
Hello everyone, I have two D3000, I bought them because they were so cheap and they give me really good pictures.
Thanks for sharing!
Thank you very much. I have a nikon d3000 camera, but now it's 15 years old in 2024 so I'm afraid the photo quality is bad. After watching your video, I'm thinking about learning photography from this Nikon D300 camera
Glad I could help! It's still an awesome camera to learn with. Have fun with it.
My style is family portrait and family photos in general what is the best lenses for that ?
There really isn't "the best" lens since it really depends on your style of photography. So, it's really hard to say, especially if I don't know what your budget is as well. But a good lens to start out with would be a Sigma or Tamron 17-50 F/2.8 lens.
Hello. How i can switch from vizor to monitor to see what i wanted to make picture?
The Nikon D3000 does not have 'Live View' mode. So, you will not be able to use the LCD screen as a viewfinder.
hello what external flash would you suggest for the Nikon d3000? im thinking an automatic flash
Thank you for this video, what lense would you recommend for nature photography?
I have a D300. Got it from a friend for free. I have no clue as to what it’s capable of. Help…
I have this camera and just dusted it off from 2015 what is the lenses I need for it ?
is the autofocus slow? How long does it take for the camera to autofocus? Does it sometimes get stuck attempting to autofocus?
The autofocus is slow for being the first D3000 model. Autofocus speed really depends on how much light you're working with. In daylight, it's fine but once the sun is setting, the D3000 suffers a bit.
Every camera will have issues autofocusing in very lowlight situations. The D3000, just being what it is, isn't the fastest at autofocusing fast moving subjects.
@BoostLeekdMedia thank you!
@@BoostLeekdMedia Thanks again for your help!
Can I use it for astrophotography
Yes, you can. You will need a fast aperture lens though. I would highly recommend getting a lens that has an aperture of F/1.4 or F/1.8. You can find a few 'fast aperture' lenses for a good price as well, since you will have to manually focus for astrophotography as well.
thanks bro
I have a D3000, and I can only take basic Pic because I don't know much about cameras. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The video helped which is good
Take it day by day. Test out different settings when you can. I've been where you've been and it can be really overwhelming with ALL of the different settings you can do.
Just take it day by day and play with the settings and your composition. Even if you're just walking outside and taking a picture of the sky or a building or a bug on the ground, just have fun and play with the settings. You won't get better in one day but you can definitely get MUCH better by starting on day one :)
Is it good for streaming? Or can you even video recording with it ??
The D3000 does not have video recording capabilities. The D3100, D3200, D3300, D3400 and D3500 can video record. The D3300, D3400 and D3500 can do video streaming but I do not have the D3300, 3400 and 3500 so I don't know how to set it up from streaming.
I have a question?
How can I see the picture on the screen before taking a photo without looking through the viewfinder
The D3000 does not have live view. You will not be able to see view what you're looking at on the lcd screen before taking a photo.
Watching this after I bought one😅
How can you transfer pictures into your phone
My wife wants to get into photography as a hobby. What good starter camera would you recommend under $300?
DSLR's FOREVER!!! I still shoot with my D60 =)
Haha! They are forever in my book as well. Glad to know you're still using the D60!
just got one for 15 bucks with slightly damaged lens. Thanks for the education, i am ready now. I think
For $15, that's an AMAZING purchase. Have fun with it!
I have D3000 mmm it's still good one and I love pictures off this camera ❤❤ bcs I'm photography too
Thanks for sharing!
Welcome tell me what about Nikon d80
It's a good backup. Definitely not up to the D7100 standards but its a good backup.
i own the camera and have used it as recently as oct 2023 to a trip to lisbon and canary islands. great pictures outside, BUT just horrible inside. for example is i am in a dark church my iphone takes GREAT pics without even trying or adjusting, the iphone just makes it happen.
Is mpd a gd website to get one from?
Did you mean MPB? I have seen photographers using MPB but I have never used it. Hopefully someone can chime in about their experiences with MPB.
How do i upload pictures from this specific camera to my windowd laptop
You will need a SD card reader. Connect that SD card reader to your computer and you can transfer the pictures from your SD card to the computer using the SD card reader.
I just pulled my d3000 that I bought 12 years ago… looking to shoot baseball games for my son - what zoom lens would you recommend?
I would recommend the 70-300 VR. There are 2 versions, get the first version. It's not too bad for the price.
how does the d3000 compare to d200?
It's an entry level camera compared to the D200. The D200, I think, is still better than the D3000. In terms of overall performance, the D200 gets the win.
Would you recommend this one instead of canon t100 for someone who is going to be learning?
Depends on your budget. If you're on a limited budget, the D3000 is what I would recommend.
@@BoostLeekdMedia thank you!
How many and what lens do you have for it?
Every lens I have reviewed on my channel are the lenses I have for my D3000 :)
Hi! What lenses would you recommend for more
Portraits/ wedding photography? I don’t typically shoot far away landscape etc. I want to get a good lens to start off with then eventually down the road I’ll upgrade my camera.
@@CarissaBarnes-uc8ob depends on your budget. For weddings, I think a great start would be the Nikon 17-55 F/2.8. I always have a second camera body for weddings so I'm not constantly switching lenses since time is very important depending on the situation youre in during the wedding.
I would also take a look at the Sigma 18-35 F1.8 lens and the Sigma 50-100 F1.8
Bought one yesterday (it’s shipped) for $74 after tax
Nice!! Thanks for sharing. You got it for a pretty sweet deal!
@@BoostLeekdMedia np, I’m looking forward to it!
It was an auction. No signs of damage but it was a photographers gear so it saw some use.
Is the Pentax K1 any good? Someone's selling one with two lenses (Base lens, and tamron a17 70-300mm) for $200
And I have nikkon d80 how is good that or
The D80 still holds up VERY well. I just recently used it and I really do enjoy the colors from it. Attach a good lens on it and it produce very nice colors.
how do you rate its ccd sensor, is it the same as compared to d200/d60/d80? thx
btw i'm using a d70s rightnow, n i love it even with its low resolution ccd sensor
oh! The D70s is a very fine camera. I think it's good but there's just something about the colors from the D200/D60/D80 that makes the image "look" better compared to the D3000. The D3000's colors are good but I would still even prefer my D40. That's just me though.
@@absurdfool if i'm not mistaken it inherited the sensor and AF module from the D200
Which sd cards can I use for this camera how can I tell?
You can view the manual but I have used the Sandisk 8gb card with no issues :)
How can you transfer the pictures from your camera to your phone?
Only way I do it is I transfer the images from the camera to my laptop/computer then transfer those images to my Google Drive or any online image storage and download the images onto my phone.
Unfortunately, the D3000 does not have Bluetooth built into it.
Can you vlog with it?
Unfortunately, you can not. It does not have any video recording.
What lens would you recommend for bird photography for the D3000?
Depends on your budget
high budget: Nikon's 200-500mm f/5.6E ED VR
lower budget: a used 55-300 VR
@@BoostLeekdMedia thanks for you advice!! 👍🙏
I just brought one with 1855lens for 80 dollors . waiting for the express delivery
Nice! That's a pretty good deal!
Planning to buy one. But is there a setting timer for the camera to take a groupic
Yes there is :)
What camera can I use for more professional cookbooks photos etc? Is not ok to use this old cameras at work right ?
You can use any camera. Especially if 99% of your photos are online, no one will be able to tell the differences in image quality between a "new" camera and an "old" camera.

Hello just a quick question, what SD card is compatible for the Nikon D3000? Does SanDisk Ultra 32 GB 90 mb/s works?
I just tried Sandisk 64gb card and it does not work. I tried my SanDisk Ultra 16gb and it works perfectly fine on my D3000.
@@BoostLeekdMedia Do you think a 32 gb card will work?
I can’t record any videos on this camera?
Correct. The D3000 can not do video recording.
The D3100, D3200, D3300, D3400 and D3500 has video recording.
@ thanks for that reply :)
Can I Connect this nikon with my Phone to send Photos without cabel?
I don't think you can with the D3000. You will need to transfer the D3000 photos via a SD card reader to your computer/laptop. Then, you can transfer those images from your computer/laptop to your phone.
So basically I just got my d3000 I got it for 175 at my local pawn shop not to bad for a 700 camera lol anyway I used to go to ICTC and was in digital media I finally after 7 years got a camera I'm so happy I can mess around with this camera now
Nice! It's a fun one! Enjoy!
What editing software do you use when importing the photos?
I'm using Adobe Photoshop for editing.
I'm having so much trouble figuring out how to get photos from my D3000 edited. I transfer them to my computer but they will not load in Lightroom, and they will not save to my phone without looking like one giant blob. Please help 😭 is it because they're RAW? Thank you!!
You should be able to load them onto Lightroom on your desktop computer. It's how I edited the images from my D3000.
Do you think a Nikon d5600 is great for vlogging?
I think it is! Especially with the articulating screen.
I still use d3000.
Thanks for sharing! Glad to know you're still using yours.
I’m a complete beginner and I have no idea what I’m doing and the shop that I went to recommended it to me but when I’m taking pics they looks so bad someone pls help meeeeee
Keep at it and don't give up! Comparison is the thief of joy :)
I have been in the EXACT situation you're in.
Can this video record?...make movies with?
It does not have video recording.
What lens is your favorite for this camera
I personally enjoy the 35mm F/1.8G DX lens on the D3000.
can it be used with camlink and apps like OBS?
Ive never tried it. The D3000 does not have any video recording capabilities. It will not do any video recording.
@@BoostLeekdMediagot it! thank you!
Would you recommend the d3300 in 2024? I just found one in an auction shop and if no, which could you reccomend me?
If the D3300 is in good shape, it's a good camera to start out with. Especially if you're brand new to photography and you want a camera to learn with.
@@BoostLeekdMedia And if I choose to get a CCD sensor cam (like the d200 or the d80) will it be a good camera? And which zoom lens is the best?
