Sang this as a duet with my rehab counselor that was a christian, 90 Days in.. recovering alcoholic, addict, absolutely fell in love with this song..i sang/hummed it all day every day... Maranatha ❤
ZHeard this awesome song for the first time tonight in Toledo, Ohio. Felt humbled and blessed by it and Mark. We must always be aware of the legacy we leave for our precious loved ones..friends and family. To God be. The Glory!
Such lovely melodies and touching lyrics and stories-makes me cry and feel the Lord’s love in a powerful way! This is one of my favorites of his-have sung it in church. Would love to see him sing this live...God bless!!
Toby Mac gave one of the biggest compliments to Mark Schultz. He was being interviewed for a cd that a bunch of musicians had collaborated on in which each of them sang one of the others' songs. Mark Schultz sang one of Toby Mac's songs and Mac said, "Oh, so that's how it's supposed to sound."
I just played this before going to a "communion" (New Testament Passover) service. It's a ceremony to remember Jesus, our Savior. I now go to the service in tears - the song touches me. That. Much.
You could look at it that way. But I think it's more a song for someone who has passed away to their loved ones behind to remember them. I remembered you, remember me

As far as I'm concerned Mark Schultz is the Billy Joel of Contemporary Christian.
This song is an opus to his craft.
I agree
Wow. Beautiful. Audience participating made Mark emotional .

I'm an atheist, and I still cant forget this song 😭
I believe there's a reason for that
Jesus loves you, please come to him with your heart he loves you so much.
God surely has not forgotten about you.

What's the meaning of this song, is it God telling us to remember him?
Yes

Maybe one of the last concerts that God attended. Christianity has fallen so far with compromise.
