Sourcing is the main thing here. If someone only goes sourcing on the weekend at garage sales, good luck. I've never sourced enough to list 20 to 40 items per day for a week. I'm lucky to list 40 items a week at times.
I have a more premium model. I haven't been able to get to the $40 per yet, but I'm hovering right around $35. I do 4 per day consistently, but sometimes I'm able to get 5. I'd like to be able to get that to 8, which would be 6 figures, but my problem is time, because I do this part time. Capital used to be a problem, but I've luckily worked myself into an excess position, after having over leveraged myself last year. Those things have sold, so now I'm sitting on a nice little pile. Only able to do that because I don't pay myself. So I'd say time is my biggest issue and possibly sourcing, because I don't know if I'd be able to source myself 8 per day for $35 profit, especially given my time constraints.
Thank you Chris for everything that you do! You’ve helped my business in many ways!! I sell everything and source primarily from the Goodwill bins for one hour, 3-5 times a week. It’s easier to get my ASP to $35-40 with sporting goods and electronics, and with the time involved in testing and cleaning, it’s easy to get at least 90-100 items per week. The Average includes selling some easier to process media at $10 free shipping, so thinking of cutting that out?
yes have yet to see anyone selling 30 clothing items a day at $10 profit per item . now if they list like 125 clothing items per day they might have 30 clothing items at $10 profit ., but they will have most at $6-$8 profit . they must use coupons and mark items down
@@oSnapMillerTime Buying donated goods from Goodwill. It takes me an hour to get in and out of the fresh morning bins...they change the hard-goods much less than clothing so it's usually a waste for me to wait. Resellers that do clothing there do very well, soft bins change often so they're there all day, makes more sense.
Thank you very much for the advice i’m new and still trying to find my niche I’ll be getting your Whatnot box in about one day thank you for sharing!!!
That's all very well but if the selling platform is not going to put your listings on display and people do not want to buy, then nothing anyone can do.
$30 ASP from thrifting is difficult. $23-$25 (w shipping) is probably more realistic with $8-$10 profit outside of some special items. The market is so flooded that even if you match the market rate for ad rates plus a little you still won’t make the main page for quite a few of your items. Way too much saturation
This is gonna sound stupid but how do you box up all that stuff and ship it? I'm literally riding my bike to the flea market and the post office trying to save for a car and I work full time waiting tables
Dear Chris! Hi. What should I do to attract more traffic to my eBay to continue selling items quickley? I have been watching you for a good amount of time and ai have been following all of those helpful times that you have done iscussed but, I have been stuck and nothing is selling out. I reached eBay to inquire about my account and f I nd out if something is wrong with, but t h e eBay y representative said that nothing is wrong with my account. Now instruct me toward the r ight direction. Thanks qlot:) Best Wishes! Sami.
Having all those different models is really the key, I'll aim for $10 but take less, and its more rare for me to make $20 an item nowadays so im trying to do 35 a day
I try and do 10 a day it’s been a lot easier doing extra drafts on the days I feel 100% it’s hard to snag inventory from just the bins with only toys retail arbitrage is my second option cost of goods are higher yet I go for a 40% profit on retail items
Hi Chris. Thank you so much for your informative videos :) I have a question that I can't find the answer to anywhere (so sorry if this is the wrong place to ask): with a shop of 100 listings or more is it a good idea to set up categories (or folders)? While it may lend some order I'm bothered that it also introduces another layer through which buyers have to click... Any thoughts/recommendations/observed results? Thanks :)
Hi Chris! Love your videos. Do you think there is a specific day or time of the day that’s the best to list items on eBay? Or just anytime every day? Thanks 😊
Your videos are great but you always talk about saving time and listening so many looking for more items in one day But when do you have time to ship .you never talk about shipping time
Until their "Money Back Guarantee" is fixed to actually be a guarantee, eBay is currently fostering a toxic relationship between buyer and seller by NOT fulfilling said guarantees and sides with the seller in most situations, forcing buyers to chargeback in the event of fraud. They're HORRIBLE at reviewing cases. I handed them a case on a platter - the listing TITLE immediately gave away the issue - and they still sided wrong. Avoid eBay - on paper it sounds wonderful, in practice and as someone with 2 decades of experience, it will burn you in the end.
We all appreciate your time and effort Chris. Thanks for all you do.

Correct, people underestimate how long sourcing takes
Honestly one of the best eBay tips, plan of action type people out here. Always appreciate the knowledge you bring!
Daily, I am getting refined. My business is getting better and better thanks to you.
You are the best Mr. Daily Refinement
That sounds fantastic about the listings but how can you guarantee that sales actually occur?
Thanks for all your priceless info!! You are a great Reseller teacher!

@@markm2707 literally thousands of people have this model…where are you looking?
Are you taking things people donate? Or buying from goodwill?

Where do you find your stock ?
Thanks for your sharing! Still an everything seller, haven't found my niche yet.
Is this only successful if you have a lot of things to sell? Like in bulk and nasessaties type venue?
What are your thoughts on washing the items before selling?
Are the white papers included for people that join this month or has the deadline passed? Thanks
July 31st deadline
Are wholesale liquidation pallet truckloads worth it?
Depends on what’s in them

You need to pack ship and invest in all that including your time which is pretty precious...looks like slave labor
