    • @dr.elliephillips
      @dr.elliephillips  6 месяцев назад +5

      Potentially. I suggest giving this a try for a month or two - and see how your mouth feels.
      There is a guide book at DrEllie.com and also you may find my oral health video bootcamp useful.
      Ensure you get the toothbrushes that I recommend ( allow them to dry for 24 hours between uses) and do the gum massage on the inside and outside of these areas in your mouth.
      There is so much you can do to reverse gum disease. My mother was about to have ALL her teeth extracted - which was why I came up with this system of care to prevent that demise for her. She lived 50 more years with the same teeth in her jaw! Rock hard and no need even for dental cleanings! DrEllie.com

      I had tears when I read your response. I am so terrified of implants .. putting screws in jawbone! I was told if I don’t get them my jawbone will decrease with time. I suggested a bridge instead and was told my jawbone will continue to decrease. Implant was the best option.
      I have your toothbrushes and your oral mouth care and Kiss Your Dentist Goodbye book.
      Which other book do you suggest I should get on your website.
      I started your oral moth care program last month and cancelled my dental appointment for implants.

    • @dr.elliephillips
      @dr.elliephillips  4 месяца назад +3

      The single study was observational and they were testing out some new equipment on 10 people.
      There was no conclusion drawn except dont drink 30 grams xylitol all at once.
      These were people at the heart clinic - and we have no idea of their age, medical condition, medications etc.
      They gave them a super-load of xylitol as a drink ....30 grams in a few minutes after fasting.
      Our bodies made 15 grams of xylitol each day by a natural process of metabolism - so our bodies are familiar with xylitol.
      My recommendation is 1-2 grams AFTER meals for a total of 5-10 grams a day.
      The study article mentions that there is no concern about xylitol in mints, gum, or toothpaste with xylitol - but the news media got it messed up - of course - and made a bunch of wrong, and ultra scary headlines.
      I continue to be passionate about xylitol and will explore more about this study and the study subjects - so we can learn more.
      The reaction in them was an increase in platelets - which is the body's healing response.
      We have hundreds of great studies that are in conflict with this one, and thousands of real-life personal testimonials - including me.
      I have consumed 5-10+ grams daily for over 40 years.
      Oral health itself is a huge factor in cardiovascular and stroke risk......
