    Great for that pop of protein to stay the course! BTW Sandy, stumbled on your intermittent fasting video and you inspired me with your before & after picture. After 1 week I’m down by 3 lbs and have so much more energy!! Thank you from Texas😁 Your sister in Christ, Raechell

    These are really good! Like better than I even thought they would be. I used mini chocolate chips & walnuts as my “add ins”.

    Any substitutes for flax seeds (like hemp heart seeds)? Flax seeds doesn’t agree with me

    • @sandysteinbrook
      @sandysteinbrook  4 месяца назад +1

      Sure! You can either leave the flax seeds out or, use hemp seeds instead to gain that extra nutrition.

    I love that but I am low carb and don’t do oats , what can I use to replace oats ??

    • @sandysteinbrook
      @sandysteinbrook  Год назад

      I am not sure. Maybe someone else will see this comment and have an idea...
      You may not be able to make them since you are low carb because the oats, chia seeds and flaxseed all have carbs. Even though they have a ton of fiber and other healthy benefits...the carb count would probably put you over thetas depending on what number you s=try to stay under each day.

    Hi Sandy, quick question. Dr.Mercola wrote an article about flax seed and that it is not good to consume. I like to make these little protein balls but now I do not know what to substitute the flax ground flax seed with. Any suggestions?

      I have no idea. I just personally don't look at all of those when making food. I eat whole, nutritious food, eat until full and try not to overindulge too much.

      Yes, if you're a low carber, the oats, chia seeds and flaxseed would probably put your numbers over the top for the day if you trying to stay under a certain amount of carbs.
