Great for that pop of protein to stay the course! BTW Sandy, stumbled on your intermittent fasting video and you inspired me with your before & after picture. After 1 week I’m down by 3 lbs and have so much more energy!! Thank you from Texas😁 Your sister in Christ, Raechell
Thanks, Sandy! It's helpful to have these measurements. I've thrown together balls like this but it's great to have your tried-and-true recipe! I look forward to making it. : )
I am not sure. Maybe someone else will see this comment and have an idea... You may not be able to make them since you are low carb because the oats, chia seeds and flaxseed all have carbs. Even though they have a ton of fiber and other healthy benefits...the carb count would probably put you over thetas depending on what number you s=try to stay under each day.
Hi Sandy, quick question. Dr.Mercola wrote an article about flax seed and that it is not good to consume. I like to make these little protein balls but now I do not know what to substitute the flax ground flax seed with. Any suggestions?
I have no idea. I just personally don't look at all of those when making food. I eat whole, nutritious food, eat until full and try not to overindulge too much.
Thank you! After I saw your comment I realized I did not write the PB. Considering that is one of the main ingredients...its pretty important to write that in. Lol.
Yes, if you're a low carber, the oats, chia seeds and flaxseed would probably put your numbers over the top for the day if you trying to stay under a certain amount of carbs.

You're welcome! It is nice to have a base recipe to go from and then make it your own.
Delicious! My only additions were a little maple syrup and cocoa powder. Great recipe! Thank you for sharing!
Yum! I love anything chocolate!
These are really good! Like better than I even thought they would be. I used mini chocolate chips & walnuts as my “add ins”.
I’m glad you liked them, and let me know! Now they will be so easy for you to make and pick different “add ins”.
I’ve been needing a recipe like this! Thanks 😊
Oh good! Now you have a base recipe and can make it your own with your favorite add ins.
Any substitutes for flax seeds (like hemp heart seeds)? Flax seeds doesn’t agree with me
Sure! You can either leave the flax seeds out or, use hemp seeds instead to gain that extra nutrition.
These look so good, thank you!
You're welcome. :)
Yum! Making these right now.
Thanks for the idea.
I make them all the time. Shep loves them!
Looks delicious! Thank you❤
You’re welcome! Enjoy! They’re so good
Love these! (I add carob powder and raisins to the basic same recipe. Tastes like Reese's peanut butter cups.)
YUM! That sounds so good!
How much carob powder did you add?
@@Trish-rd9pb I don't have access to my recipe at the moment as we're moving, but I believe 2 generous tablespoons is what it called for.

Love making these!
They come together so quickly and also take care of that sweet tooth if we want something sweet, but healthy.
Made these today. Sooo good❤
Such a quick and healthy food to toss in our mouths and go!

You can just leave it out!
Yummy 😋❤
They really are!
Do you have to use peanut butter? I’m allergic😢
Are you allergic to all tree nuts? Can you eat almond butter or cashew butter? Or Tahini, which is ground sunflower seeds?
@@sandysteinbrook I’m not sure, hopefully not. Thanks for the suggestions!
U can use almond butter rather than peanut butter
How long can you keep these in the refrigerator?
Ive had them in there 5-7 days, and they are just fine. We have them eaten by then.
@@sandysteinbrook thank you!
❤❤❤
They're so YUM!
Thank you😊
You're welcome! :)
