Yup. Flight Simulator on Xbox Series X is the first true next gen experience on consoles and it couldn't be more beautiful... okay maybe 60 fps would've been nice.
I think it is because it’s similar to MSFS X OST and some people are nostalgic about it.

This is that one type of a game soundtrack that was made to visualize the game once you hear it. This song reminds of how much adventures and time you can spend flying in the sky. Flying planes. Watching the sea or mountains under you. Not only the song, but the game is legendary. Every aspect of this game just relaxes you and makes you feel good. There is nothing in the game to be angry about. No one can make you angry in this game because it's not competitive. It's amazing.

This is my go to background music when needing to focus, study, get work done, etc. Calming, almost melancholic, but strangely hopeful. Never thought a flight sim game would offer such great music! Thanks for putting this 3 hour edit together!

when i was 13 years old, my parents got me microsoft flight simulator for my birthday, later for me to find out that my only laptop couldn't run it. i sat back in my chair, crying, as this music played in the background. for 2 years i was stuck with the old flight simulator x, downloading mods to try and make my gameplay better. i once even thought it was the best flight simulator. i even personally banned myself from watching "microsoft flight simulator" videos as that would fill me up with sadness and jealousy. after almost 3 years of saving money, i bought an Xbox Series X and could finally play microsoft flight simulator. now i hear this sound every day, and instead of filling me up with sadness and jealousy, it fills me up with joy and excitement.

This one does already bring nostalgia of a different kind for me, so hard. I lived with my parents in Florida for 3 years back in the day. They stayed when I headed back up north. I would fly down once a year for the next 15 years to make visits I looked forward to very much. For much of that time, I was single and very... not lonely per se, but you know. It was like a holiday for us every time, especially for my father and I. In 2018 finances became a little tight and an annual visit became price prohibitive for a couple years. Had to replace my care, etc., etc. and his "miles" on his cards had run out, so no free rides. Then COVID hit (even more difficult to travel overall). In the tail end of 2020, my Dad became very ill very quickly- neuropathy, which opened the door to dementia and the like and it was becoming evident that I really had to visit soon if I was going to spend time with him for who he really had been. I postponed in October, then in November. The new plan was to go down at the tail end of January, 2021. On January 14th, he decided it was time for him leave this realm and he took matters into his own hands. At least it was quick. Just about once a month now, every month, from that day forward... I fire up Flight Simulator, set up my little Cessna to take off from Paige Field in Fort Myers, and fly over the community and the house where all of those older better memories took place. When setting up the weather and time of day and all of that, I often linger, enjoy a couple minutes of this very song, and think of him.
When the plane I'm on takes off, this music plays in my head.
It's nostalgic music that can be felt as both the sadness of leaving a place and the anticipation of a place to go.
High pitched tones in the song, reminds me of old wii sport games and such. So peaceful!

I just started playing actually and started playing the training part and gradually started flying a A320 and learned how to put it on autopilot, so satisfying

I was installing the game but it was night. I went to sleep and in the morning I heard this music. but i could not figure out where it was coming from. i checked everything. it was a mystery. but the music is very pretty...it made the mystery part of it really interesting , and then i thought i wonder if its the game. that was it. it shows me playing 16 hours already on steam. i haven't even had 1 lesson.
Sad your internet's slow. Mine got fully installed in 50 minutes.

So much has happened in life since I’ve first played this simulator and listened to this soundtrack. Hope everyone is doing well.
Same man. I can't believe it has almost been 2 years since this game came out. Things have changed. This track just hits me in the feels man.
So many memories to connect to while listening to this music, I miss those days when I was cruising through mountains, doing landing challenges, making approaches. I’m just waiting to build a good pc so that I can play this game peacefully once again. For now I just installed it back on my laptop. So good to see other comments and their experiences with this game and thank you for uploading this beautiful music.

Watching the game cover with this music calmingly breaking me apart and at the same time giving me some sort of hope in life front. All this is happening while the game is loading for an internet connection and i didn't really want the connection to get established even tho that moment felt sad for me but at the same time was cherishing. Was such a relief ❤️

Even though only half a year passed since I've last played MSFS, this song is so nostalgic to me. It brings me back to the days when I was flying in my PMDG 738 for hours every day, across Europe. This song gives me weird feeling of being happy, sad and calm, all at the same time. That's what makes it so beautiful. Guess I'll have to fly through virtual skies pretty soon again.

Everyone needs to remember this game is already amazing, graphically. It will keep getting better with feedback from the community and become the an amazing sim! Especially with 3rd party addons etc. They’ve released a little early let’s say, but it’s still an amazing leap in flight simulation ✈️ great soundtrack

when i hear this song I think of how even though this simulator is so big, modelling the entire planet, Earth is still so incredibly small, and the massive mountains and gargantuan cloud structures are, compared to the planet itself, incredibly tiny and insignificant. Using Flight Simulator was a chase for realism since my first FS in 98. Then 2002 came, and 2004, then FSX with which I travelled the world and in my mind for almost a decade. It led me to my first pilot session... And since last year, I fly with MFSM with a brand new PC, full graphics...and I almost cried watching the realism, especially with some addons. I have reached some sort of realism mountaintop and it's amazing.
