Just a hint - for all amigurumi with oversized heads I use a little weight in the body to keep them stable when they stand. I make a bag from pantihose, fill it with dry rice, tie a knot and put that into the body then use the fibre stuffing around it. You only need about 6-8 tablespoons of uncooked rice for this little guy - it should keep it straight up when you stand it. Another thing that I've learned is to crochet all my amigurumi with a size smaller hook - that way you get the stitches nicely together without showing any gap. Thank you for this patter, it's a winner
I've been watching and writing the instructions down as you go so i don't have to watch several times as I'm making them for my grandchildren and nieces (about 4 of them). your videos are very well done. you explain what you're doing without a lot of filler like what not to do. what i like most is no annoying music.
Gracias por el tutorial. Yo no se mucho de croché. Aprendí cuando era niña, pero nunca practiqué. El Baby Yoda que hice con su tutorial salió un poquito grande. Pero me gustó. Es para mi nieto de regalo de navidad❤
This is my first time doing anything like this. I enjoyed doing it your tutorial is so easy to follow. Thank you my adult daughter is going to love this yoda .
Loved making this for my friend who was diagnosed with leukemia last year I did have trouble making the ears so I used ears from another pattern lol but definitely enjoyed it
Thank you for these tutorials because I bought a written pattern and I read that the body and head were connected so forgot to keep on working but these pieces are all parts. You saved me from starting all over again, thank you again❤️❤️❤️❤️😁
Thank you for making this cute little guy available. The videos are great. I would like to say that for the most part it is pretty easy to follow along.
Thank you so much for the increase explication! I couldn’t find anyone to explain that to my understanding….😢 great project can’t wait to make it🙋🏻♀️💜
Thanks for making this video to follow along with.. I have a 4 year old grand daughter who likes Unicorns and Baby Yoda...So I will be making her a unicorn blanket, and a baby yoda doll, and baby yoda hat.. Now if I could make a pattern with baby yoda riding on a unicorn, fins a pic like that, Id make a blanket of that..I wish I could crochet faster. My graphgans take me months to make.. I am working on a graphgan for my daughter who's graduating in May,so right now that has my focus..But I will be working on my 3 grandbabies things next..
Could I get the stitch count for when you finish the 7 rows of double crochets? When I go to do the 7 single crochet with the decrease I can't finish the row with a decrease. I have done something wrong and can't find it.
You should have a stitch count of 42 when you start your 7 rows of hdc and you should still have a stitch count of 42 when you finish the 7 rows. As I stated in the video - you increase by 6 with every round prior to those 7 rounds of hdc and if for some reason you don’t get the exact number just add or take away stitches to get to where you need to be. Hope this helps. 😊
Hi I have another question and by the way, thank you for posting the dolls height above :) Duh I did not see it there (rolling my eyes ) haha! Anyway. On row 28-34 you go back to 6 rows of "hd" and I am using single crochet, so how many rows should I do using "sc"? These are the rows after the decrease. I think I have the row count right for the single crochet version. Thank you in advance for your reply :-)
Thank you for this great job, I just start to crochet Amigurumi Baby Yoda because I'm retired can I sale them in the craft sale to get my money back from buy yarn and stuff.
How many double half crochets are there? After you do the first one you say that we need 6 in total but when I go back to the video you say we should have just finished 7.
Thank you so much for sharing this you are amazing! Only have one question when you said we are going to do six rows a half double crochets then when you finished you said we did seven rows of half double crochets is it 6 or is it 7 just so I know

louise dery 2 sc would equal 1 hdc
@@CustomComfyCrochetByDawnMarie Thank you! 🧡
louise dery just to be clear - I meant 2 rows of sc would equal 1 row of hdc- because of the height. Sorry, I should have said that. Lol
This is so awesome, I was about to give up making baby yoda
