Had the same injury and surgery as you last month, and really appreciate all the videos you’re posted. It’s really helped give me hope that things will be better - thank you so much! Hoping will recover as well as you have 🙏🏻🤞🏻

Similar injury here. I fooshed while snowboarding in jan 2023. Since i was in japan, i didn’t go to see a doc. I just carried on with the rest of my trip. And everything seemed to heal okay?
My wrist bends normally forwards and back. Side to side as well. No pains while using my grip either.
But now a year and a half later, I have pains in my palm’s heel area when doing pushups, planks, or anything where my hands are splayed on the floor. Even with cushioning.
My forearm also looks a bit thicker near my wrist than it used to. Like fatter, even though it shouldn’t be this size.
No pain other than when i put weighted pressure on the palm itself.
I might see a doc to get an exam and xray when I have some free time though. Happy to have found this video!

God this is scary. I've had a broken schaphoid for a year to the day. Been waiting for surgery after the cast didn't heal it. I'm a mechanic so hand and wrist strength whilst bending hand and wrist in mad positions is a must. This video had scared me silly now. Looks like a career change for me. Surgery tomorrow. I'll keep you posted. Been working for a year with it broken so recovery can't be any more painful I guess.

If you watch my previous videos you will see that I had a lot more injuries to my wrist then just a scaphoid fracture. Dislocation, broke 3 more bones and needed wires and ligaments damage. So I’m sure your surgery and recovery will be a lot better than mine!

@@michalmadness yes I saw that mate. Looked awefull.your doing well. Yes lots of ligament and nerve damage to mine too from the impact. Now had surgery and 5 months on got lost of movement back forwards but backwards I can't move it at all due to a huge lump that's formed. It's never ending ey. I guess it takes years of adapting to it and getting used to the difference from perfect to repaired.

Thanks for sharing Michal, your videos are really helpful!
It has been 3 months since my surgery, I started the recovery process this week. I didn't expect it's this difficult, probably the most difficult phase of the injury so far, feels like it won't move!
And the lump thing at 5:30 it's true! Ever since I took my cast off and it looked weird!

Thank you for making the videos on this subject,,,,I felt defeated and just couldn’t connect with other videos on trying to get movement after fracture ,,, it totally gives me hope and inspiration to actively do what needs to be done,,, it’s quite scary not being able to rotate,, flex or basically use my wrist and fingers and basically my arm since I broke my collarbone as well,,, Thank You ,,, you give me hope

I'm nearly 7 months into surgery, even though there was an 8 month-span between the accident and the operation. It does not feel as strong as the other wrist and I have some pain. However, I don't feel much pain in my daily routine and my ability of movement is useful in general. I wonder if there is any way to get rid of these pains...
And thank you very much for your videos. They are not just efficient to be able to understand what I need to do, but also gives huge moral support!

@michalmadness yeah I use my hand everyday. Now ima go back to being a mechanic pretty much I'm giving myself the medical clearance. I still don't have enough range to bend my hand foward. What's your ig? Maybe I can show yu? Can I ig message you? I've been watching your videos bc doctors stop my therapy visits they say I'm good but I still stugge to do most activities I used too
