@@victisomega4248 gonna give you a bit of ammo on this one, cause i agree with you a lot here. EVs are meant to be better for the environment right? Well maybe but they dont do it well, batteries in general are some of the worst things for the environment we have, usually needing to be disposed of separately from everything else, so we either ruin the air with carbon or the dirt with batteries. Im also not certain the process for manufaturing batteries is all that great for the air either but do your research cause im not confident in that statement. Personally i say get an EV and power it with a gas generator, ruin everything faster! Idk about the rest of the world, but here in america we are really pushing for EVs, our current president wants 80% of vehicles on the road to be electric by 10 years or something like that, i dont know the actual numbers, and yet we dont have the electric infrastructure required to host that many EVs, IIRC our current grid is from the 60s or so, so recently the entire state of California died because too many people were charging their EVs at around midnight. Thats not speculation, thats the response the gov gave when asked about it. I think this was last year, maybe the year before then idk. As you can tell im bad at specifics, do your own research to make sure youre right. Now this is a big one for safety, you know how gas cars can catch fire? So can EVs, difference is EVs do so more often, likely due to how new the technology is if we gave it a few years it would probably be about the same frequency, but they also burn several times hotter, i think it was up to 5,000° (does it even matter what unit that is at that point?), And longer, meaning you can take an on fire EV, put it in a lake, come back a few days later and it actually might still be on fire. It got to the point that there is now an Electric Vehicle Fire Extinguisher thats separate from normal fire extinguishers. Now this one is a small one, honestly personal preference, but you just cannot match the feel of a gas car in an EV. Some EVs, Tesla i know has this, will have speakers on the outside and you can configure them to ay any noise while you drive, including engine noise from a mustang or whatever your favorite engine noise is, but its not the same you know? The closest you could get is to get a really big rumble motor, strap it to the drivetrain, put really food and really loud speakers on both tge inside and outside of the vehicle, think the speakers they use in concerts, and configure it all to sync with each other properly, and at that point youve spent more money than just buying the car youre imitating anyway

Nissan exec: “You ordered HOW MANY tiny electric motors?!?”
The older I get the more I understand why my Dad always says "The more things a car comes with, the more things there are to go wrong."
Utter nonsense, modern European and Japanese cars are way more reliable and economical, than your beloved long outdated vehicle!
The Flintstones had it right
I actually like that the console can be moved, but physical buttons will never go out of style
That’ll be expensive to change out when it stops working lol
You just recycle the whole car. It's a cheaply built appliance. No serviceable parts.
@@dougfisher1813 Interesting concept.
Can’t wait to accidentally change my drive modes as I drive!
“Gotta bump those gear select failures up” said management.
This is the center console all the way back. And this is the center console all the way forward, WITH A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT CAMERA ANGLE
Love square cupholders for all my square bottles
Bottled farts.
Yep. Totally agree. Don’t need all of this stuff. Just a steering wheel and pedals do the trick for me.
No motor? 😱😱😱

Yes, Flinstone lifestyle is the way!!!
@@LadyVoldemort Flintstone is the only true way of fuel economy and no blasted buttons!👍
"Extra work for less pay, I love it" said no mechanic ever
Nobody said less pay. I promise you will pay dearly when that thing gets stuck on an ear ring and starts smoking.
Every motor weights more than just a button to push and slide! What a heavy ass machinery
Simplicity is Best, the more moving parts the more maintenance!
When the need arises for a replacement, prepare for sticker shock.
They should fire whoever came up with this idea
"here is the console all they way back... and here is the console all the way forward from a completely different perspective"
Thanks, guy,
I would love to have those last two buttons in my vehicle. It actually makes a lot of sense when you’re looking for shit you’re dropped.
I get the buttons for the storage is weird but having movement for the center console is a good thing. It adjusts it to what the driver likes.
you forgot to mention the wireless charging port that's so precisely placed for your phone to take off and slam into the dashboard should you hit the break hard or at all😉
Overengineered means it’ll never break down. This thing here is a reversed way of overengineered.
Over-engineered also means needlessly complex.
@@death_parade that would mean you can say anything and it means everything
@@panhuragan4388 Even I am confused by this term on a regular basis. Because it can mean either. Gotta get it from the context. But I believe the original meaning of over-engineered was needlessly complex whereas what you are saying is usually referred to (for a component) as "high-factor of safety".
@@death_parade I’ve heard Lexus 400 first generation was over engineered because they made it immortal. That was first and successful attempt to fight Mercedes S class and bmw 7. It succeeded in USA 🇺🇸. Europe protected themselves;).
