Are less intrusive anticheats as effective as the ring 0 stuff ? Even with Vanguard valorant has a fuck ton of cheaters. Many of them only get banned manually， meaning vanguard didn't do shit against the software they were using. Some idiot even got banned because he wasn't even clicking his mouse while streaming with a CAM. If he was more cautious he would have gone pro because he had the mechanics.
im part of a few cheater communities and yeah vanguard was completely deconstructed day 1. They found out that even though it was kernel level it didn't actually do anything until valorant started. Hackers and cheaters are uniquely good at getting around things like that. Having a ring 0 anti cheat is a huge liability because it has a marginal increase in ban rates with the security issues he talked about
