As the saying goes: "One man's junk is another man's treasure!" When my dad was alive, he used to go out and find all kinds of stuff. He brought home a torpedo shell of all things once. Someone stole it from our garden a few years after he died because we used it as a decoration. Still have no idea who or why someone would steal it but they did. It just proved the saying even more to me. Wasn't ever mad about it, just confused why someone would steal that and not one of the 3 unchained bikes or the actual garden ornaments that were worth at least £10 in a charity shop! Still baffles me over a decade later why someone stole our torpedo shell!
If the area was a center of weapons storage and distribution, the "mine cart" may well have been used to move heavy weapons, or loads of munitions around at the site. If they had to move heavy stuff around, they certainly may have had rails on the ground/floor. I would have dug it out!
Incredible to see how many artifacts are preserved in the soil of the 3rd reich, this certanly explains how mighty and modern the Germans were at that time. And the German " Gründlichkheit" stamps here stamps there they were stamping everywhere. Good video mate!!!
There has got to be a market for the scrap metal and glass that relic hunters find. As long as it's not of any use to archeologists or historians, I personally would have no problem with someone hauling much of that scrap to a scrap yard or recycling facility.
I always look forward to you videos Mike. You explain things and what you find making it feel like we're there with you. Please keep metal detecting and continuing how your incorporate us [ me for sure ] in your adventures. Be safe and careful Mike..
That what you call Mining cart might be an overhead track that hung down and might have had a basket underneath it that they move stuff around. At least that's what the rollers look like. You're probably one on the other side of it. That's what has the angles side like you were talking about? Overhead rail system
I've got a saucer with those FI U. V markings on, also a small brand new teapot with the initials O. V on the side of it, a deceased woman we bought a summerhouse off in piland worked for the Germans and kept them, interesting watch,

Hello Mike ,je suis de Normandie , je fouille dans la région de Trun et Chambois Argentan , et il reste encore pas mal de choses . J'aime bien tes vidéos .Amicalement
Mike, always very entertained and informed by your videos. Excellent production value, too. Had a thought about the cart you found. Is it possible that might have been used in the weapons facility to haul stuff around in?
So you have detectorists that leave dig sites a mess also. That's a shame. Michael, what part of Germany are you from? Just curious. I was stationed in Bindlach. Beautiful country!!
Funny how you can spend hours digging through a trash dump and we're all jealous that we're not there too 🤣
I wonder if the old Head & Shoulders shampoo bottles I’ve used over the years will be sitting on someone’s shelf someday. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
