-Searching for WW2 Treasure - German Wishlist finds!

- Опубликовано: 22 ноя 2024
- In previous video we found a huge wartime 'dump pit' filled with German WW2 uniform pieces, dog tags, personal items, medical items, glass relics and much, much more.
After we emptied out this pit we really wanted to see what else this small piece of wood would give us, so we fired up the metal detectors and did some serious detecting.
Luck was on our side because we actually found some awesome items that were high on our bucket list. Want to know what those were, just sit back and enjoy the video. I'll bet that you'll be amazed with the things we find!
Next thing on the list is Hitler's lost gold. Don't worry, we are going to find that one day. Just subscribe to the channel so you can tell your friends 'I was there when Mike found it.. ' ;-)

FAQ:
-Do you report things found to the authorities?
Yes, all nasty things found like UXO's and finds that could be important from an archaeology perspective are reported to the local authorities.
-Do you sell finds?
I am a collector myself so I hardly sell relics. But if I do then I'll post it on the social media pages or think about becoming a Patron, because I'll share finds with my Patrons (check out the Patreon website for details).
-How do you gain permission for metal detecting?
Check out local laws regarding metal detecting and get permission from the landowner. Or hook up with a local metal detecting club in the area you would like to detect and get your information from them. (I stopped responding to questions like this all together, I'm not google..)
-Can I come with you?
No.
-Will you marry me?
No, lets just be friends.

The Garrett Ace Apex with a bigger coil or the Garrett AT Max.

Have a lot of people to thank, you as a viewer, the Patreons, but also one special person who I forgot to mention in the video: Mary E Stotts
Sorry Mary! As promised in a personal message, I'll make it up to you :)
Hey Mike, it's always a pleasure to see a new one of your videos. Love to see your enthusiasm yet respect for your WWII finds. You kept name-dropping Garret this week, and it made me nostalgic. I've got a Grand Master Hunter I've had for over 30 years, but I'm not able to go out with it any more. But it's one of the reasons I like your channel so much. Hope to see many more cool finds in the future. Gorgeous Kriegsmarine badge, too. Hope you get to find a pristine *edelweiss* of your own. Best of luck!
those pouche are drk (medic) pouches
Congrats Mike, love to see you getting so emotional happy! It's beautiful.

Great finds again Mike, thanks for sharing
I have never seen you so happy with your finds... I'm sure it has to do withy discovering all these unique artifacts in a small contained area - not like the long treks to find a few of them eh ?.... As always I'm most impressed Mike... Your Canadian friend... Ted... Be safe, be well and be careful...

Well those are pretty good looking metals I just got me a metal detector but have not got to use it yet the weather's cold and rainy I'm over here in Oregon USA but I'm getting very anxious to go and see what I can find we don't have no battlefields go look at but if I could be able to wear Germany or someplace like that I would have a ball
That’s awesome, I wanna be able to do this kind of stuff some day

Hello. Les étuis DRK sont des trousses médicales, et le tube : Acid Acétylsalicylique (aspirine). Good job. ....

Awesome last find Mike, would love to go out one day if you would allow me to hunt with you!
Pouch top looks like it's off a medic's pouch ( sanitater ). Or, it could be an ammo pouch for a flare gun
Let's find some good stuff!!👍❤🇺🇸
We will! :)
Great Mike,great hunt😁😀
Geweldige vondsten! Kan altijd genieten naar het kijken van je video's! Ga zo door 👌🏼
Great Video Mike!
I love this type of woods.
Of course, it’s difficult with all this thousands of buttons, but normally you‘ll be rewarded with nice finds, if you fight yourself through all the signals.
Do you know the history of all these buttons? They used Kriegsmarine Uniforms as blankets there mostly.
Love the medic pouches, some lether oil and they are like new!
Greets AC
2:40 nee geen helmen, maar meer uploads! Genieten dit👌🏻 dikke vondsten weer man!
hey 1 mark with a high probability from Finland. Apparently, the cook's owner was a German who came from the Lapland front or a Finn who went to Germany after the Continuation War, there were those too
Brilliant video Mike :)
STRANGE NO BULLETS ?? A CAMP SITE ?? NO TRASH ?? VERY PERSONAL FINDS THEIR MAYBE A MED SITE OR JUST A STASH BEFORE THEY SURRENDERED OR CAPTURED?? VERY NICE FIND I NEVER SEEN THAT ANCHOR PIN BEFORE
Hi friend, great finds! Very cool! very good video one more subscriber here from the south of Brazil. 🤠🧭🌲👏👏🇧🇷
Cool !!!!!
Hey mike those are your coins ,you rub those things all you want ! lol
Did the German's dump things in the forest? Great video!
💪 Mike je bent een topper. Geweldige video weer ❤👊
That 0.5g "acidum" tube is aspirin - Acetylsalicylic Acid.
Edelweiss badge very nice. I recently purchased seven very nice gold Kriegsmarine buttons, I was a bit disapointed they had no makers mark on them. Is this common? That isnt a K98 ammo pouch I have a couple.
Congratulations on your beautiful finds. How do you get permission to search in the forest? With kind regards
Lots of oooooooo’s great vid
Happy new year too you
Gaaf dat je allebei vind wat je wou haha super vondsten weer man👊
nice finds! but i have a question do you do your own research for good places or do you just go to a random German forest.
Nice finds. Any idea why so many buttons and insignia are in the same place?
Most likely a capitulation place where multiple people had to throw away their stuff.
I often wonder how these items got there? Stripped from prisoners of war, lost in battle, hand to hand combat, even piles of weapons. Maybe buried by the soldiers so as not to be taken as souvenirs. Who knows!!!!!
My guess that they tried to hide from being soldiers or worse, officers with more responsibility. To avoid punishment if they were taken prisoners.
How is that leather still in such good condition if its been exposed for 80 years? It looks like it has been sitting there no more than a year!
Clothes and weapons in really good condition are being dug out of the clay soil I have seen. Ku
Quick quick !!!
I like how you show pic of the finds being wore , wish you would have shown that last find on a soldier......
Pretty sweet bro. Always love hearing the Ooooooooo
I think that medicine was aspirin!
Why so much Kriegsmarine? When I think of them on land I think coastal artillery and big bunkers, what were they up to in the woods?
Nice finds, but the best thing is, how you enjoy metal detecting , thank you
Are deep digging Dan and iron Mike the one and same? Is it already spring time over there?
Awesome finds! I have a question for you. The kriegsmarine , I thought was Navy , how is there so many naval things found in the forest areas? You must be hunting around the coast? Anyway that would be awesome to hunt with you sometime. Take Care and have a Bock beer for me.
I wondered about that.
The k98 pouches are medic pouches!
I know at least 2 tough Finnish soldiers who after the Continuation War fought for a while in Germany in the SS-TROOPS until they were able to surrender to the British or the Americans
Zin in!
Haaaaaa rub it.we need the funny stuff!
What are these buttons made of? Brass? Bronze?
You find Finnish coin, ”markka”👍
Old man told me of being in the army after the war was over and burying jeeps, motorcycles, and most anything.
Have seen other diggers finding Motorcycles. A Jeep would be cool too. Make for a great video :)
Legendas em português ❤
Like, 👍🇧🇷
Been too long my friend. Good to see your oooh face again 😘😜🤙🤙
oooohhh
Gratulation from Austria
Wonder why so many badges were discarded in one area 🤔
Wat is de beste provincie in Nederland om te gaan speuren?
Yes. That's finnish coin.
Why are there so many Navy finds in the middle of a forest?
From the looks of it, that section of forest seems to be where they stripped off all insignia while running from allied troops.. 🤷♂️That's my conclusion..
Finse munt?
Finish coin?
hy mike.. bahasa mu di deskripsi sangat baik. apakah kamu pernah tingggal di indo?
the rock has gold in it lol
Hope not, I didn't bring it! ;)
Hallo finde euro Videos klasse und eure Funde sind einfach mega ich gehe auch sondeln habe aber bis jetzt noch nie so eine Tasche gefunden wäre es möglich die zu bekommen würde mich freuen Mfg
Do you ever give any of that stuff away? SOME OF US IN AMERICA WILL NEVER HAVE A CHANCE TO OWN ANY OF THAT HISTORY!
Will they let Americans detect there?
Hey mike, are you afraid of mines?
