First time I've ever seen a goal reviewed twice. How did they review it, say it's good, then review it again to say it's bad? It's like they were trying to piss us off because when I first saw it I was mad the ref blew the whistle for no reason then surprised the goal wasn't overturned. Then when I thought all was well suddenly they take the goal away again. Hagel needed this game, I was real surprised to hear how few goals he's gotten so far because pretty much every time he's on ice I'm saying "nice play" he's consistently playing really well just hasn't had puck luck.
I actually suprised they gave the goal at first, last games all calls were against us, but LA challenged for goalie interference so it's different reason for review.
The bolts are still a very dangerous team.

How did Cirelli get a penalty for goaltender interference when the whistle was already blown? Also how is it goaltender interference when he was pushed into the goalie?
These refs are horrendous.
He didn't get goalie interference penalty, it was roughing. His skate pushed goalie leg, it's subjective.

This league is so dumb. So, just that I'm clear. If the ref intends to blow the whistle, the play is dead. But if they DO blow the whistle, the play is allowed to continue. Anyways, gutsy win. I'd given up on almost the entire season starting the third.

Like, just review the whole play if you’re gonna review it. The Kings should not have had to challenge to review some other part of the play. That was much dumber than the goal being waved off.
Personally if Kopitar is leaning/pushing Cirelli towards/into Talbot and Cirelli grazes Talbot's skate, but it doesn't stop him from making the initial save, then the loose puck that Cirelli put in should have counted... And this is why I say that the War room for reviews should not be in Toronto...They are biased as hell. I don't care if the NHL HoF is there.. Put it in Quebec, or some Neutral city that DOESN'T have a team in it.. Same should go for MLB.
I could’ve swore I heard the whistle go before the goal too. I swear, it feels like they watched it again and said “not goalie interference but damn I actually did blow the whistle, guess I have to call this back”. Idk tho, it just sounded like the whistle already blew when I was watching the game.
Edit: wait was that not the ref’s whistle??? Watching it again it doesn’t sound like the whistle came from the red behind the net
The wave off / interference call was the right call. Should not have been called a goal in the 1st place. Still way too many half ass blind passes and weak movement trying to leave their own zone.
If you look again, Tony was pushed into the goalie by a Kings player...
@@larrykinnard the skate to skate contact while crossing the blue paint was not due to a push.
@@carly1391 yes it was, the defender was pushing Tony directly into the Kings goalie. Plus, the goalie made a move after that incident causing the puck to become loose. The second half of the play was not part of the interference call. Therefore should have been a good goal.

Stamkos is dead weight. Cooper tried to put him on the 3rd or 4th line, but he can't play defense worth a shit.
I'd rather scratch Stamkos and add shifts for Kucherov, Hagel and Eyssimont.
Maybe we can re-sign him to be an assistant coach or the Thunder Bug.
Anything over 3 years or around 6 or 7 AAV is a massive overpay, but some other team will pay it.
If the Lightning are out of the playoffs by the deadline, Stamkos will be dealt (if possible).
