This is truly profound... 1. David Gray's slowed down version of this song is one of the greatest covers (I don't usually like covers but love David's of this). 2. Marc is the star here on his own fantastic song but seems to be giving total respect to David as its his version and his gig, even though its Marc's own song - that's really nice. And 3. they are both great and unbelievably brilliant together here . I really love this, I am lucky to have seen and heard this.
When White Ladder was released, I listened to every song in order just in awe of how great it was. Then 'Wave Goodbye' started. I'm still blown away by it. Beautiful song.
