    The cenotaph was put there for a reason, and it should never be moved it's right where it's suppose to be.

    It's only a statue , erected 1933. Nothing but a untrue memorial, doesn't tell the real story. No dishonor wanting to recreate the Alamo battlefield as it was, without any foreign structures, and placing the memorial at the entrance. Seems right to me and a very good idea. I saw a 1990 design in a San Antonio magazine (1988-98) to redo the Alamo that looked more accurate but natural by making the entire area into a park with trees, bushes, a few low stone walls with cannons etc. It was beautiful because it recreated most of the Alamo 's perimeter 1:52
