They wouldn't care because they see shiny things above the water all time... Planes,boats, most birds feathers reflect atleast a little bit of light also. That's why the bottom of dolphins are white so they blend in with the sky if a predator is looking at them from below.

The air behaves in the same manner as water..its just different densities, so the movement of sea creaters should still work in the air if the 'creatures' weight is proportionate to the density of the air. If you're lighter than the air then it behaves like water

The only thing needed is a denser "air". And we already have that, water.
