😂 For Pink Floyd, you need to learn to just RELAX, chill & Listen. 🤗 You don't have to "entertain" us. We here to watch you "experience" Floyd. 😁 So relax and just enjoy the magic that is David Gilmour Guitar solos...... 🥰🐰
Pink Floyd is always a journey into the depths of my mind. There is just something that calls to me as though from the depths of the universe and reminds me that my energy is eternal. Comfortably Numb, Money, Time, Shine On You Crazy Diamond, Welcome To The Machine, The Wall, Us and Them. Just a few more classics from Pink Floyd. However, there is much more, they are one of the best English (rock?) bands. They are unique, you can't put them into a particular box other than to just say they are Pink Floyd. Saw them live, they were incredible.
It was great to be a teen thru these years. We had some amazing music. We were very lucky to have lived what I call real music, music made without needing a pc to create it.
One thing to be ready for when you listen to Pink Floyd is that every song is going to kind of have a similar tone but will be very different from the one you just listened to!! Also with the style of music you'll come to find that Pink Floyd is their own genre they don't sound like anyone else and nobody sounds like them! The dude on fire shaking hands with somebody is the Wish You Were Here Pink Floyd album cover and it represents the band members getting burned by the record executives!!
it's partly about syd, i.e. the cold, steel rail. but the amazing part is roger waters wrote this(with david gilmour singing lead vocals) as a song to himself. the duality of life. when he needs to be one side of his personality(focused on bettering himself, selfish to an extent, seizing the moment) he's instead outgoing, caring about other people, compassionate and sympathetic and thus sacrifices opportunities that could've benefited him personally. and then it also goes back the other way when he needs to consider what effect his actions or inactions might have on others, he's only focused on what might help him out without regard to anyone else. thus at the moment of epiphany, he wishes his other self was there at that moment, instead of the one that is. has he found the same old fears? i see the flies.
Best band ever, my friend. They cannot be classified very easily because their talent allowed them to play in multiple genres. Try Shine on You Crazy Diamond Parts I-V from the same album, Wish You Were Here 1975. Once you love that song, try the second part, Shine on You Crazy Diamond Parts VI-IX. At that point, you will be 60% through your first Pink Floyd album lol. Do the studio version of Shine On. You will discover soon that they are epic to watch live as well, but this song needs the studio version on the first listen.
I would place them in the general or "parent" genre of rock where child genres are classic rock, soft rock, hard rock, heavy rock, heavy metal, progressive rock, and then there are sub-genres within those. But I also view genres as rough guides. Some can get anal about them. Main thing for me is whether I like the artist or song or not, however someone else chooses to classify..
5:38, the first moment you "felt" what is Pink Floyd. Eyes closed, swaying back and forth... enjoy! YES, Please go down this rabbit hole. I love to see younger people discover this band. Songs to listen to - Basically anything from the WALL album - "Comfortably Numb", "Another Brick in the Wall", "Mother" and "Run Like Hell" are great, "Time", "Money"... the list goes on and on and on
Your reaction to your video in the back ground reminds me what Roger (base player) said once > MTV ruin music by showing videos that have nothing to do with the actual song. In the past you had to listen to the lyrics and relate to them what you think they are saying.
Please do Pink Floyd song "Time" the studio version is best version. That would be great second song for a new Pink Floyd listener. Then "Comfortably Numb". Pink Floyd is like no other band in the world. You will see for yourself, Best rabbit hole you can ever fall into.
When you have the opportunity to see and hear Pink Floyd, the live version is always the best. Check out the pink Floyd pulse concert. Greetings from Norway. 😀
The album is called Dark side of the moon..... Best listened to from start to finish with the lights out, laying on the floor and the volume turned up. Enjoy.
This was the best band back in the 70s and 80s.......the genre is considered to be psychedelic space rock and blues based progressive rock.....in the 70s this was amazing to us as teenagers it was so laid back and different. Listen to Comfortably Numb, Time, or Another Brick in the Wall..... it is all different intensity but flows the same. Great for back in the day just hanging out. lol....psychedelics were big back in those days and kids loved this spacey music. Very soothing to listen to Dark Side of The Moon.......and remember we had no idea about any music videos we had the radio, and albums and concerts. Best to sit back and close your eyes and listen lol it was trippy back then. Love your reactions!
The photos are so accurate because this is a fan made video. The official studio versions are always a better choice as far as sound quality. The man on fire photo is the Wish You Were Here album cover.
The whole Dark Side of the Moon album is extraordinary. Omg you are in for a treat. I would listen to that.... Head phones essential ....and yah music is crap now.. Like really crap. idk what happened but something went seriously wrong.. peace enjoy and rock on ..
Had to subscribe cos you too damn cute not to lol😁 glad you're checking out PF still great after all these years. If you think no-one is making music that good today though you're mistaken. Dimash, Stranger, New Wave 2021 and Story of One Sky MV or Diana Ankudinova, Can't help falling in Love. Both artists exceptional and top of their fields. Love your reactions, keep up good work. Bless up from London England. ❤🏴🇬🇧
Pink Anderson Floyd Council Two great Blues musicians for which the band was named after. There wasn't a music video when this song came out I would suggest unless it's the movie The Wall or a live performance you ignore the videos as many are just distracting. Also you'll find with Pink Floyd is what you call a concept album All dealing with the same subject. About half of their recordings are of that manner. With that said listening to One song out of order is like reading a chapter in the middle of a great book. There's no prior context or conclusion. At that point making since out of the song means little. It matters not to me I've heard all their songs many thousands of times. Have been a fan of there since 1968. Have everything they recorded on vinyl. Was fortunate enough to attend five of their concerts. Dark Side of the Moon. Animals The Wall Momentary lapse of reason twice. Second was a Encore concert the following night. That was the longest concert for a single band I ever attended. The largest was the wall. There was a extremely large Orchestra mixed choir and boys choir. All with their own director. Dozens of actors. And the laborers that built a large 150 ft by 30 ft wall between the stage and the audience. That was tore down at the end. And all it took hundreds to produce the concert. ✌️ 🤠🏞️🐂
Thanks, Justice.. this is probably my favorite by PF,... it requires some patience to appreciate them... they are genius, but not "traditional"... don't be distracted by the video... but do listen to lyrics... (as many of their earlier songs were.. this was inspired by Syd Barret..one of the original founders who went off a bit... that's another whole story... you'd have to look into it...) I hope you get around to more from them... appreciate your listen...
Do Pink Floyd's Darkside of the moon album track by track You'll love it and remember alot of Floyd's songs begin while the previous song ends. Then do wish you were here, Animals, and the wall.
🤗 If you need something to look at 🙋🏿♀️ may I suggest you watch Pink Floyd Pulse Concert Videos. Comfortably Numb is a request you will get a lot of. 🫤 Also wouldn't pause 🎸 Gimour Solos (if you want to Live!) 🥰🐰
"A slide show?" Yes, because you selected not a studio version from Pink Floyd's site, or the Monster 1994 Pulse Concert Earl's Court London video, but some fanboys PowerPoint montage. It's a distraction and makes this unwatchable. Ouch.
And off on a tangent from this but now you gotta check out Incubus "Wish you were here". By the way not the same song at all, and I would say that the Morning View Sessions live version is just as good or better than the album version.
Dude you listen to Pink Floyd. Appreciate your reaction bruh but you were overly focused on that weird slideshow that someone put up. Just listen and take it in is my advice
ALWAYS IGNORE THE VIDEO in a Pink Floyd music video. It has NOTHING to do with the song and just distracts from the music, And by the way, you talk too fg much. It wouldn't be too bad if you ever said anything worth hearing.
Pink Floyd are one of the greatest of all time, I’m looking forward to more reactions man🫡
Pink Floyd is it's own category of music...enjoy.
😂 For Pink Floyd, you need to learn to just RELAX, chill & Listen. 🤗 You don't have to "entertain" us. We here to watch you "experience" Floyd. 😁 So relax and just enjoy the magic that is David Gilmour Guitar solos...... 🥰🐰
Yes! He’s doing tomuch and missing the music and the ride…

If you go down the pink floyd rabbit hole it will be just as deep as the queen rabbit hole.
Also, the triangle with the rainbow... it's a prism. White light goes into it and it refracts the light into all of the colors.

This is a gentle version of Pink Floyd. Other songs in their long list of genius tracks are very different.

Pink Floyd is a genre all their own. There is no one else like them
Listen to their album “Dark Side of the Moon” and your life will change forever
You got that right…..they don’t make ‘‘em like this anymore…..that’s why I’m stuck in my classic rock era forever…..and I love it ❤

The next time you react to Pink Floyd you definitely have to watch them from the Pulse Concert.
I’ve checked out a few songs, if you see any that I haven’t done let me know
The triangle album you're talking about is Dark side of the moon❤
Yippie! Floyd! 🤗 Was hoping we get to them soon as well as some Steely Dan & Rush! 🥰🐰
for a first time hearing why on earth don't you LISTEN??????????????? AND COMMENT LATER?
Love that you are getting into Rock music!
Check out some other bands like Alter Bridge, Slipknot, and Shinedown. I think you will like them.
Brick in the wall by Pink Floyd. You will really love it❤️
Watch em live pulse remastered concert. Pick a song the whole thing is lit. They can bring the fire too. Prog rock.
The best
You should see the versions from the “ pulse “ concert.
This video is so unwatchable it’s almost…it’s so literal it’s brutal.
❤❤❤
Do Pink Floyd's Darkside of the moon album track by track You'll love it and remember alot of Floyd's songs begin while the previous song ends. Then do wish you were here, Animals, and the wall.

Try this live Pulse 1994 !!!!!!!!!!!
Animals album 👍👍👍👍👍👍 u need to try
Video put together many years later it’s actually pretty irrelevant so don’t waste your time trying to figure if it means anything 😊

Slideshow is not by Pink Floyd, it's just made by a person like you and me who posted this on RUclips... Nothing to do with the song...
this song was made on alcohol and drugs , so you in are in the right mind
COP THAT YANKY 🙃🇬🇧🙃🇬🇧🙃🇬🇧🙃🇬🇧🙃🇬🇧🙃🇬🇧🙃🇬🇧
I'm pretty sure that's an AI generated video. Have fun diving into Pink Floyd. This is barely blowing the foam off the top.
Ooh yes i see alívio lost yer soooou e ❤
Bad fan video. Pink Floyd had nothing to do with its inception.
Don’t drink and vlog.
