I really hope the Twitch chat is full of "Julieeeen!" every time he does something Aries, like open a can with a screwdriver. When things can happen again, you and Hannah Hart (and/or Mamrie Hart) should do some drinking and cooking together. That thing looked delicious. Is yellow cornflour like a finer version of semolina/cornmeal/polenta? I clearly don't cook with them enough to know the difference, I just know it can do that crazy liquid absorbing thing and then be turned into a bread/dough/cake type consistency. If you like that consistency, you might want to try making your own boxty/Irish potato pancakes. Basically you make mashed potatoes, but instead of adding milk you add flour (this yellow cornmeal stuff might work as a nice substitute if the gluten free flours can't hold their shape that well). Shape it into flat circles, fry in a pan with a little oil/butter, and voila! You've got your own potatoey goodness to turn into a vehicle for tomato sauce (ketchup).

I can never make them right. Ive tried to learn but my grandma measures nothing, her instructions are cryptic af, ugh! Its like the standing up spoon thing when making rice.
@@re1_ayanami The measurements he used seemed pretty accurate but I would say maybe make the "dough" a bit more firm. I think some people roll them in a thin layer of regular flour to make them stick together too but double check cuz I'm not 100% sure if that's right. Also you usually shape them in your hand that way it's like a canoe shape (can't think of another description haha). So you make like a canoe in your hand instead of flat and add the cheese in the center and then just close it up and continue shaping them in your hands. You want the outside to be smooth because if you leave any openings the cheese will melt out of the sorullito. Also I've always known them to have cheddar cheese (queso de papa) or plain not with mozzarella or guava jam but it sounds good with either one. I hope you try them out and that they come out good! 😊

I’ve been following you for years and have always kinda lurked in the background... lurking like lurkers do... and I just wanted to actually pop in for once and say I’m really REALLY liking these live cooking shows. It’s just chill and casual and it’s exactly the kinda of undramatic, simple, fun content I need. I don’t know about anybody else on the RUclips platform who is simply just a viewer and not a creator, and I don’t wanna speak for anyone else, but this past year has really made me take a hard look at the kind of content that I am absorbing and that I’m choosing to give my time to. And unfortunately, as much as I love the drama in commentary community, I started to realize over this past year that it was actually really weighing on my mental health. There’s something about constantly bombarding your brain with negativity and judgment that was slowly chipping away at how I viewed the world and I simply just had to stop watching them. Their Videos are very entertaining and some of them do a very good job at remaining unbiased and respectful, but I just need content like this content that Julien is putting out to have for when I need to just unwind, unplug and relax and laugh. In Argentina salsa Rosa it's cream and tomato sauce, it's for pasta. And mayo mixed with ketchup it's salsa golf. It could be different in other countries idk 🤷
Julien, you might like Pao de quejo. It's a similar procedure to the sorrullitos, but it uses tapioca flour/starch instead of corn flour. Pretty tasty.

In Argentina salsa Rosa it's cream and tomato sauce, it's for pasta. And mayo mixed with ketchup it's salsa golf. It could be different in other countries idk 🤷
Julien, you might like Pao de quejo. It's a similar procedure to the sorrullitos, but it uses tapioca flour/starch instead of corn flour. Pretty tasty.
