I love seeing your tribute to the english breakfast!! Especially as a veggie, this looked amazing! *However* I will include a detailed guide to a proper English breakfast for future tasty adventures.. Bacon... meat free alternatives are great.. but it must be fried. Crispiness is not essential in british culture. Sausages- the cheaper the better when it comes to breakfasts (for some reason) but if you can get your hands on richmond meat free sausages youll get a great idea of a proper british sausage. Eggs- scrambled, fried or poached and plant based of course so this is personal preference. Beans- must be heinz. Theyre delicious and i often microwave them for an english breakfast.. or if im making beans on toast ill throw them in a pan to simmer briefly with some cheese. Toast- now there are 2 options: toasted and smothered in butter or fried in butter in a pan to make what we called fried bread.. very good but not my choice unless i make it myself. Mushrooms were spot on really.. Tomatoes.. either halved tomatoes that have been fried in a pan or grilled. But hardcore englishmen have tinned tomatoes (plummed is best but chopped are fine and they often need sugar and salt added to balance out the tartness. Truly delicious. Hashbrowns- not traditionally british but theyre widely seen on english breakfasts nowadays.. mcdonalds hashbrowns are the closest consistency similar to a british hashbrown. All glugged down with proper yorkshire tea and milk or a chilled glass of fresh orange juice.
I think he might want to put that in his video title, description or somewhere when 'the algorithm' recommends this title to many many people with zero interest in that type of cooking/lifestyle. I feel it would save him all the understandable comments about cooking what we call a 'proper' breakfast lol
I make vegan full English breakfasts all the time and there is never any spinach anywhere near my plate because it does not belong. His looks good but it’s not a full English at all.
i don't know if you're gonna see this but you can make egg using reverse spherification, so the yolk can have its own skin and not spilling everywhere, using calcium (its vegan i think) and sodium lactate. i saw this experiment on a show BitterSweet eps 16 but its in indonesian
When it comes to full English everyone has there own preference of how they like there plate to look and how they eat it, like it doesn't matter it's just prefence and what you prefer

Doesn’t know how to make canned beans hot without burning
I would have just frozen the “yolk” part of the egg and that way when it cooks you could probably get that nice runny effect but also what do I know I’m not a food science like julien
Thank you! I was about to comment making small ice cubes of the yolk so they form rounder and runnier.
💙🧡✌
As a mexican, hearing Julien say that he doesn't have beans during breakfast makes me sad. He's missing out
I love seeing your tribute to the english breakfast!! Especially as a veggie, this looked amazing!
*However*
I will include a detailed guide to a proper English breakfast for future tasty adventures..
Bacon... meat free alternatives are great.. but it must be fried.
JULIE THE TOMATO NEEDS TO BE SUPER SUPER GRILLED AND CHARRED!!! STILL BEAUTIFUL THO
Julien: you need spinach for a full English
Also Julien: why would you put tomatoes with a full English?
He was asking why grilling them
Izzy Green as a brit: nobody here eats spinach on a full english.
I always have grilled tomatoes with a full english... it's baked beans that should be illegal! 🤮
@@Copperflash I know I have never seen spinach on an English breakfast??
Fried egg, sausage, bacon, beans, fried bread, mushrooms and tomatoes is usually on an English breakfast
Julien: "Oh. The heat wasn't even on. 😐"
Me: "JULIENUUUUH!!!"
This was his vegan version of a English breakfast, calm down.
I think he might want to put that in his video title, description or somewhere when 'the algorithm' recommends this title to many many people with zero interest in that type of cooking/lifestyle. I feel it would save him all the understandable comments about cooking what we call a 'proper' breakfast lol
Horse McFadyen if people are offended by someone cooking a fake egg that’s their problem
I make vegan full English breakfasts all the time and there is never any spinach anywhere near my plate because it does not belong. His looks good but it’s not a full English at all.
@@Anluain Boo hoo he made a fake egg and didn't use meat. Takes you like 2 seconds to just click off.
i don't know if you're gonna see this but you can make egg using reverse spherification, so the yolk can have its own skin and not spilling everywhere, using calcium (its vegan i think) and sodium lactate. i saw this experiment on a show BitterSweet eps 16 but its in indonesian
When it comes to full English everyone has there own preference of how they like there plate to look and how they eat it, like it doesn't matter it's just prefence and what you prefer
the amount of bandaids on his hand is getting concerning-
Kaylee Keen it’s also used for weights

Julien: "I wish I could lay eggs!"
Aslo Julien: *remembers what menstruation is and silently takes back what he said*
Birds don’t have uteruses and therefore they don’t menstruate. Only some mammals shed their uterine lining.
diba moca I don’t think they were talking about birds lol
I love the energy in this channel. It's so underrated
Every time Julien says bottom I get his voice in my head saying "hotdog bottom front"
I hear you gotta be bottomless to get to the top.
Julien if you got the Colman's from the UK it is NOT GLUTEN FREE. I'm a coeliac from the UK and know I can't have Colman's so worth checking yours. It could be made differently in the US so really hope it's ok....
ohhh no i hope he didn't get sick
Oh that's awful I hope he sees this and gets help. Jenna can help him hopefully...
Julien. You need to try baked beans on toast. It’s life changing.
Brionyx - as a British person, I wouldn’t say life changing - I’d say lunch 😂
@@lizziex7117 Or 'tea'. beans on toast for tea, lol.
Lauren Abbott - oh really spoiling us now 😂
Roxanne Lavender - or breakfast 😂 literally anything
y’all are so weird 😭😭
Something about "poached egg" in quotes is just so ominous.
me, forgetting you are vegan and gluten free: “what? it’s really not that hard to make a deviled egg”
me, when i realize: 👁👄👁 “ohhhh wait, wtf? how?”
Never have I ever seen an English breakfast with spinach.
My immediate thought. no no no who puts spinach on?? 💀
EXUSE ME WHAT DID THE KING OF ALL ARIES, THE KING OF ALL MESSYNESS, THE KING OF *_NOT NEAT_* JUST SAY?!? 1:00
it’s truly virgo season beech
the fact that HE was definitely the one that put them like that too... a virgo would never
nah hes channelling jenna for us
“I said laboratory not labvortiry don’t go peeing in here”
-Juliannnnnnn!!!!
i think you meant JUULIIENNNUUUHHHH
Isabella Robson yes, yes I did
i love the second camera angle you've been using recently! and this looked so good, i love breakfast food.
this made me feel very nostalgic, but also so wholesome! my father is from scotland (we live in germany) and we used to call this meal a "fried scot" (= "gebratener schotte" in german) instead of an english breakfast :P of course we did not have a vegan version + my dad would eat bacon with it too. i was a very picky eater and went vegetarian at some point, so as a child i would usually only eat the baked beans with the toast, sometimes an egg. love it to this day tho! lovely video juleeeeen
For a second I said "Who is Poached egg? Is Julien making a collab?"
Juliens face when he realised what he said about laying eggs I can't 😭🤣💕
Ps. This would have felt more authentic for me as a Brit if you had used Heinz Tomato baked beans 🤣 also we fry the tomatoes
Never had spinach at any place that does a full English though
Looks great! Only thing one thing... no spinach and there's bacon as well 🤤
Julien I really love how much artistry you put into your camera work. You've really evolved and it's clearly something you love. I loved all the closeups. Thank you for sharing your gift with us
I love you Julen. You brighten my day & make me want to cook things instead of staying in my depression chamber (i.e. bed). Thank you.
just got home from school feeling very sad and anxious, saw this video and felt better
Lemme just say that aries kitchen is my favorite show on youtube right now.. Julien's videos make me really happy 🥰🥰🥰 even though I'm not a vegan nor a celiac
Same same!
"Summer, please end"
As someone in the Midwest who woke up to frost on my windshield, don't you EVER say those words again
Greetings from someone else in the frigid armpit of america 🤙🏻❄️
Ohioan here, and it’s already close to snow 😂 I wake up and it’s 40 degrees already. Summer is done over here 🙃
As someone who's living in a state completely on fire, I'll take a frosted windshield any day.
Katelynn Boyd can't argue against that
Our state is on fire! I'm 50 miles away from Julien and it's been 95-100 degrees with a *completely gray* sky for over a week and my patio is covered in ash! We are DESPERATE for rain so we don't all die!
Juien: so on a full English we have mushrooms, spinach....
Everyone in england: 😳😳😳
i miss jenna so much :( sending her ALL OF MY LOVE AND SUPPORT
i love how julien always makes enough for two
No, that's just standard English breakfast size
@GeekyMagicLover isn't that what I said? Lol
