Nice tutorial, I'm currently thinking about getting this Synth mostly for Ambient Pads. Another tip I have: Modulate the Pitch slightly with an LFO to get even more "analog" feeling. Also using the Velocity as a source for modulation adds even more variation.
Nice work sir, obviously you’re an experienced designer with your Frozen pack. Good to see this after spending too long in the FB groups and on my own videos hearing folk moaning about the workflow or encoders. Just get on and make. And make it good like this!
Nice sound! I think as the microwave is expensive this looks a good way to get them waldorf wavetable! Is there fm/cross mod style modulation available on these? I have the largo by them, it’s buggy and laggy but can make some really ice cold thru so pretty rich tones!
i had microwave xt, have blofeld & largo..love them all ! blofeld make the best pads with that ppg filter ..so lush..but i'm still asking myself which one between largo and blofeld sounds better ! the fx on largo are def better..but sounds like the mod matrix and filters are better on the blofeld.
I do same with my Blofeld.. you can also use amp enveloppe with very long attack for wave scanning works pretty well too..and then through the Eventide h8000 for even more magic .. or did you try a EHX small stone phaser pedal on a Eminent or solina like patch ? instant JM.Jarre Oxygen vibes ;)
I'm curious where did you get the angled USB cable from? I have no problem finding angled jacks, midi, or even usb-c, but I haven't found USB type B yet.
This is a great walkthrough of patching on the Blofeld in general, and the patch you made is very beautiful. Thanks!
Wow, nice walkthrough. Great to get such a good sound and yet you hardly needed to use the mod matrix.

Yes many options to create drift or nuanced timbre variations possible
yeah, initializeing here it's not easy :D Thank for help!
wicked! was wondering how you save the patch to a new slot?
Great tutorial. just the explanation I was looking for to build nice "spacious" sounds. grazie dall'Italia!
coolex!

Yes producers make music. Geeks keep moaning about specs pros and cons.
Encoders are shit and I replaced them immediately.
Very helpful. Thank you.
Amazing video, thank you so much for your inputs.
...wow ☁️🚀 ☁️ ☁️ 12:10 like a heaven patch! 😀

Yes plenty of osc modulation functions

@@burger659 haven't tried the plugin. i think there is something slightly more realistic, sound wise, about wavetable hardware in general.
@@Conforce would be helpful if you could try Largo and Nave.. and let me know what you think 🤔

ah yes h3000 makes the blofeld so lush too. shimmerrrrrrr
@@Conforce yeah..the old eventides sounds even better !
@@burger659 ah I can only compare to h9. That one sounds more like a vst in a box

Elektrons
@@Conforce Thanks, do you mean here www.elektron.se/accessories/ ? They don't seem to be offering them anymore if they ever did.
i did a DUMP all and i have no idea where to save it ? .. can you assist !
Automatically to bank B if I remember. It is pre determined
Use sysex and choose Blofeld usb or Blofeld midi as destination
A dad makes a patch from scratch 👨🏼🍼
