I've had the G7 for 2 years now, & I've gotta say LG has stepped up their game... This is from someone who's had the G2, G3 & G5. I've been quite impressed with the speakers & overall performance of my G7. Can't say I'd switch to any other brand anytime soon. Team LG
@GrubGamingMC1234 i switched from samsung a50 to g7 in 2023, it was cheap i found it used for 50$ with really good condition, it still is much better then midrange samsungs, amoled and battery is +for samsung but overall this old lg destroy most of midranges.

Got one not too long ago, great so far, altho I am coming from a v40, and v30 before that lol.
Don't forget that the EQ on each phone can make the speaker a lot louder depending on each phone. I know the V40 got pretty loud after raising the EQ to max. Of course this is in LG's own music app. Get some FLAC 32bit, 24bit files b turn up the EQ, set it on a shoe box and it'll sound better than most BT speaker's out there.

For Me G8 is the ultimate LG phone for now without the 5g, it has all the signature features from LG it also has Boombox + CSO and you can make it even better if you turn on DTS x (side to side) G8 the best of both worlds. Its 90% as loud as G7 but it's more balanced but G7 is still the loudest of all, I'm truly impressed with my G7 the boombox when it's shallower it gets louder, its also louder than my siblings iphones. You know i got ringing on my ear when i get 2 feet close to g7 speaker.

I have a Stylo 6, and I too would love a V60. That's the boss right there.
I'm still using a G7 and its been a great phone for a few years now. LG made some really good stuff over the years but never seemed to market them hard enough to keep up in sales. I'm looking at getting a V60 myself.
I've owned both and yes absolutely it's worth upgrading to the V60 literally for no other reason because of how cheap it is

if you want to check and compare the sound level, then you need to use a Sound spectrum analyzer (app), there you could the volume decibel of each phone etc.

Forgot to mention that the g8 has stereo speakers. One normal at the bottom and the other behind the screen.. try it. They sound in stereo. Do the right left test.

The phone is still running smoothly to this day.
The screen is pretty bright! Its nice and sharp to me. Its a 1440p display so it looks nice and crisp. I usually have my screen brightness at 50% tho.
No real complaints still.

The Stylo six sucks I got rid of it in like three weeks hella slow I mean I like the 1080p about it but that's it I'm rocking the v50 Sprint version.that's my favorite phone of 2020 and half of 2021 and the next one I'm going to get is going to be the v70 or G9

Lg v40 has a higher sound output through 3.5mm compared to lgv60
Lgv40 has been tuned by audio house meredian where as v60 hasnt been tuned by any external brand audio house
Tester it personally by playing various files, set of songs. Lg v40 and lg v30 are the best
Same with LG V20 tuned by B&O was better than my LG G8 and its DTS X.
Something's up with the V40. My V40 pulls a 525 single and 2500 multi in GB5.
The v50 is keeping up with V60 g8 it's hard to notice cuz there's so money phones but I noticed

Personally I would just go S10 5g since I wouldn't have to worry about 5g (everything is about to go 5g and to not be worried abt your phone being supported go with that one.) it has a great display, good battery life and great cameras as well. S10 also gets updates for 3 years. OnePlus if you want the complete immersive screen experience (no notch or punch hole) Even though I hate to say this can't recommend the LG G7 because LG doesn't have the best track record when it comes to software updates, nor does it have stereo speakers like the other two. I would go S10 tho even tho I like having the immersive view just because of 5g.

S10. it has an official IP rating while the OP7 doesn't. You also get an exact estimate of years of updates on the S10. OP updates their phones but I don't know for how long. You also get more features on the S10. Unless you care about high refresh rate screen then go with the 7 but if you don't go S10. I recommend the S10 it has better battery and other features.
