You know, security is a huge proponent browsing things online. Unfortunately in the future there might be a real big exploit that these phones won't get patched and it's going to stink. If I was to get it, I'd just just offload my music and use it as a glorified Quad DAC MP3 player offline. But you could root it and install custom ROM.
The phone is usable...gaming...social media... photography...but for phone calling not supported in my country...only can use 2g..no vowifi...no volte in my country
I think the main concern with the LG V60 (and V50) now is the susceptibility of the USB-C port to breaking and charging speeds usually being really slow. Otherwise, it looks really good even today.
This was the best 120 bucks I've ever spent on a flagship device... And I also picked up the dual screen case for $50. I've always trusted your reviews for older flagship phones and this one is still a keeper📱 I just treated myself to the OnePlus 12 for my birthday, but this one will always be one of my ❣️😉🎉
Sounds like a pretty sweet deal. I been looking at v60 on ebay. Couldn't find the dual case for cheap. Last time I check they might have been around $100. I heard the dual case might not last for years due to build quality.
@@peterparker2068 personally, I think the dual screen case is more novelty than practicality ‼️ I mean, sure, you look like a boss when you flip out this device....... But, for multifunctional tasking, I can certainly do the same with a faster refresh rate in a Samsung Galaxy 21 or 22 ultra‼️ So, what you spend on that older LG v60 and the case, think about investing in one of those older Samsung Galaxy instead ⁉️📱
@dalehemphill7175, I’d like to share my thoughts on LG’s smartphone journey, particularly focusing on their software development and its impact. As a tech enthusiast who occasionally indulges in bargain-priced devices, I’ve observed some key aspects that contributed to LG’s challenges in the smartphone market. Hardware vs. Software Balance: LG has consistently produced intriguing hardware, often pushing boundaries with innovative designs. However, their software development hasn’t always kept pace. When introducing captivating hardware features, LG should invest equally in refining the accompanying software. A seamless user experience requires both elements to work harmoniously. Timely Software Updates: The LG v10’s delayed software update serves as a prime example. Waiting a year for essential improvements can frustrate users and tarnish the overall experience. Swift updates not only enhance functionality but also demonstrate commitment to customer satisfaction. Feature Abandonment: LG’s decision to abandon the “Friends” modular concept (as seen in the LG G5) disappointed users. While ambitious, modular attachments lacked long-term support. Consistency matters-once a feature is introduced, maintaining it ensures user trust. Gesture Navigation Challenges: The LG G8’s hand gesture navigation system faced usability issues. Navigating the phone via gestures should be intuitive, but LG struggled to deliver a seamless solution. User-friendly interfaces are crucial for retaining customers. Lack of Ongoing Support: Over the years, LG’s inconsistent support for older devices impacted sales. Users seek reassurance that their investment will receive timely updates and fixes. A robust support ecosystem fosters brand loyalty. In summary, LG’s journey in the smartphone market was marked by impressive hardware innovations but hindered by software-related missteps. As they pivot toward electric vehicle components and AI, let’s hope they learn from these experiences and continue to evolve.

Both of my V60 battery health are still above 90%. Both batteries never been replaced before.
Please how did you get your battery life %

How does it stack up against Motorola's Thinkphone?
Now my LG V60 is no longer receiving security updates which makes more vulnerable to hacks and malware.😢😢😢
That's the only smartphone I have bought 4 times. Absolutely ❤ it. Major major go
I can not create new contacts on my LGV60 THIN Q. Any help
The phone is usable...gaming...social media... photography...but for phone calling not supported in my country...only can use 2g..no vowifi...no volte in my country
Where you're from?
Can u revisit the Samsung s10 5g
Yes
I had one and still good to use
❤❤❤❤❤
I think the main concern with the LG V60 (and V50) now is the susceptibility of the USB-C port to breaking and charging speeds usually being really slow. Otherwise, it looks really good even today.
Comprate un cargador original de samsung
The charging speed is not that bad when you think Samsung uses the same for most of their phones and that both Google and Apple are not that fast too.
This was the best 120 bucks I've ever spent on a flagship device... And I also picked up the dual screen case for $50.
I've always trusted your reviews for older flagship phones and this one is still a keeper📱
I just treated myself to the OnePlus 12 for my birthday, but this one will always be one of my ❣️😉🎉
Sounds like a pretty sweet deal. I been looking at v60 on ebay. Couldn't find the dual case for cheap. Last time I check they might have been around $100. I heard the dual case might not last for years due to build quality.
@@peterparker2068 personally, I think the dual screen case is more novelty than practicality ‼️
I mean, sure, you look like a boss when you flip out this device....... But, for multifunctional tasking, I can certainly do the same with a faster refresh rate in a Samsung Galaxy 21 or 22 ultra‼️
So, what you spend on that older LG v60 and the case, think about investing in one of those older Samsung Galaxy instead ⁉️📱
Software Balance:
LG has consistently produced intriguing hardware, often pushing boundaries with innovative designs. However, their software development hasn’t always kept pace.
When introducing captivating hardware features, LG should invest equally in refining the accompanying software. A seamless user experience requires both elements to work harmoniously.
Timely Software Updates:
The LG v10’s delayed software update serves as a prime example. Waiting a year for essential improvements can frustrate users and tarnish the overall experience.
Swift updates not only enhance functionality but also demonstrate commitment to customer satisfaction.
Feature Abandonment:
LG’s decision to abandon the “Friends” modular concept (as seen in the LG G5) disappointed users. While ambitious, modular attachments lacked long-term support.
Consistency matters-once a feature is introduced, maintaining it ensures user trust.
Gesture Navigation Challenges:
The LG G8’s hand gesture navigation system faced usability issues. Navigating the phone via gestures should be intuitive, but LG struggled to deliver a seamless solution.
User-friendly interfaces are crucial for retaining customers.
Lack of Ongoing Support:
Over the years, LG’s inconsistent support for older devices impacted sales.
I bought one yesterday. It has a strong battery.
Don't fast charge it 😉
Should be fine
I got one but the sensors failed only fingerprint sensor seems usable
Any idea why this problem occurs
the issue is it's not getting any more SECURITY UPDATES
Not super cheap,Super champ.
I love the phone but i hate the OLED black crush.

The real question is with the dual screen? How cool is it?
It's fun to toy with, but it makes this heavy phone even heavier.

I just replaced the battery on my LG V60 for about $30.
I did the same thing.Bought a battery from Amazon almost a year ago. Then I bought another V60. And I own the S22 and S23 Ultra.
