Luv it. I hate where the FNR switch is on a factory golf cart. I've toyed with putting it on the column on my rat cart. I also love the backup lights, I've just never found any that looked like they belong. Splitting the park lamps and headlights is brilliant, we're trying to use these as mini cars and you're getting there quickly
Great idea. My 2023 Drive 2 PTV the stall has to levels. 1 is Amber's and DRL and Yamaha emblem lights up and Taillights. So that is the daytime lights. And 2nd level on the stalk just turns on the LED low beam just like a car.
Killer mod, I need this in my life! Just because it's different and I like different stuff. I contemplated moving the FnR switch either onto my dash or onto my column. But this is much cooler! 🍻👍
I'd like to see how you did the "shaving" and filled the hole left from the FNR switch. I want to move the FNR switch to the dash on a 6 passenger to allow building a cooler under the front seat. Also you mentioned a possible cooler build in another video, I'd love to see how you do it. You could borrow my cart if you need a test subject :)
Hey I seen you at Ocean lakes this week. I told you I was gonna take a pic of your cart. You talked about smiling for the pic. It's cool that I got to see the cart in person. I'm interested in building a lifted cart. Cool to have seen you
Yes it was. My wife said it was you and I said no. Of course the woman is usually right. Cart looked real good. I'm eager to start. Just figuring on how to get it lifted.
Do you think the wiring you did or very similar would work for the "Reliance Rotary Forward Reverse FNR switch with LED"? I have a 2001 CC DS 6 passenger, lifted with Epoch lithium batteries (i used your 10% code) but i hate reaching down by my legs especially when i have someone sitting up with me and i want to upgrade to the rotary style switch because it is backlit and minimal, is it even possible?
Sure, Its upgradable. I have one that I never did a video on. I bought mine directly from china for like $10 but had to wait a few weeks to get it. I was gonna put it on a different project.
Then I would use diodes on the wires that connect to the relay. The diodes would prevent the cart going in reverse while turning the pods on with the additional switch kinda like I did with my switchback video on my truck. Check this to see what im talking about. ruclips.net/video/-qdPaQ9IlYg/видео.htmlsi=J9g78-MTyCy9k-PD
@@Fentertainment great TY. I figured a diode needed to be installed to not back feed just wasn’t sure what wire and where it would go. Thanks for sharing I will watch now.
@@Fentertainment that would be badass. I have been brainstorming all day I am getting a headache lol. I think I have it figured you just concerned about having a 48v trigger on a 12v relay.
This cart will absolutely be one of a kind ! Your a mad scientist!

Cool modification. I dig it

Slick mod right there.

I can’t remember if you said if we could put that switch on a ezgo txt. 2004 model I cantget my fnr adjusted correctly.
You must think of this l stuff all the time !An you do a good job of it!
@fentertainment What cart should i be shopping for on marketplace to slap a navitas motor and a Lipo in? Club Car DS 2010-2022? etc?
I would keep any eye out for the main 3 - Club Car, Ezgo or Yamaha. I have a video about getting a golf cart for the first time and what to look for.
If you wanna go fast, stick with Club Car. Precedent or DS. My neighbors EZ Go got death wobble above 40mph.

@@hemiboy29 I'm trying to get my carryall kinda done for an upcoming trip. I thought about doing the same thing to it. I might make a video.
