Other shows say that Bostons never want to be alone. I don't know what to believe. Every dog can be different I guess. And why the Maltese but not the Havanese. I had a Maltese that didn't mind being alone. He was actually a confident little guy without being rude.
Beware-Greyhounds are fabulous but they have a strong preying instinct. Read up on them if considering to include them in your life-especially if you already have another animal in the household.
I definitely found that two was better than one. I had adopted a dog that had to be kept in a crate due to separation anxiety. Took in an elderly dog from a family member and my dog was so happy that he never had to be crated again. When the elderly dog passed away I adopted a neglected mixed Shepherd dog who had severe anxiety. She was placed on medication but we were keeping her in a crate while at work. Finally decided to let her out of the crate and because my other dog was there she was fine. When my first dog passed away I was able to take a puppy from a friend who had an accidental litter due to watching his son's dog while he was in Afghanistan, and the dog was not spayed. The mixed shepherd with anxiety took over the care of the little puppy and they were just fine as long as there were the two of them. I even had another dog after the shepherd past and that dog was the worst of all as far as behavioral issues and was just fine when left with my other dog. Very sorry for the long winded response but I just wanted you to know that two dogs was better than one for me!
If her son is any indication, I lucked out with my (b)rat terrier, Aednat. She's completely fine with alone. Though I'm certain that she knows exactly when I get in my apartment building (I occasionally hear her bark shortly after I get in the building, but neighbours say that she's quiet). No signs of any sort of separation anxiety. Her son, Alejandro, on the other hand... As soon as I left, you could hear his howls for blocks. When I wasn't home, he got into things that I have no idea to this day how he got at them. Not generally destructive, but he definitely needed supervision. Still going to look for a rescue dog when my little brat finally dies, but I definitely want one that doesn't take as much work as Alejandro does (he's now in a family that can provide more supervision than I could. A loving home, of people who knew him from birth. Sad to have to give him away, but my current living situation only has room for his mum.)
You absolutely cannot leave a cavalier king Charles spaniel home all day. I spoke to a breeder about getting one and she would not give it to me because I worked all day.
Well a dog should not be left alone that long time ! U have to spend time with your dog not just leave it alone all day long ! Otherwise consider not to take a dog !
@@jillcampbell8019 yes you are right but a dog needs human presence at least to walk out ☺️ but you are right ! if they are two .. always better than alone 😁

My little shihtzu is going on 6 years. I'm glad to see that yours has lived so long. I don't know what I would do with out him.
Peaceful breed when left alone?
They're usually not happy to be left alone & independant as Lhasa Apso though.

Yay other videos and I have a question is two better than one for home alone?

Can you do Dachshund vs Pug
♡︎Sxᴘʜɪᴀ♡︎ That sounds like a great idea! Thank you!
um....Cavelier King Charles Spaniel should never be left alone...they get severe separation anxiety.
Maltese don’t like being left home alone they crave human company. Any one agree with me?
Few dogs "like" being left alone, just some are better than others at handling it while their people go to work, etc.

Definitely don’t like to be on their own, mine used to scratch at the door and bark as soon as I left the house.
Don't get a Mi-ki if you choose a little dog that to live alone as these pups loves people and they don't like to live alone.
Hi
♡︎Sxᴘʜɪᴀ♡︎ ❤❤❤ Howdy
Do you have another channel talking about walking dead ?
Basenji and Shiba Inus are NOT small dogs because they don't weight less than 20 lbs.

If possible, have two dogs in your home. They keep each other company. Same with cats.

MY SWEET LIL MAN, HE UNDERSTOOD EVERYTHING.
Separation anxiety isn't "caught"...it's a serious mental condition.
