Skoda cars may be a bit pricey but IMHO, they are highly underrated. Given the features and value for money, they can give any other car in respective category a run for their money.

Great Review Gavin. Does the cruise control in Style Plus offer Adaptive Cruise control? (it shows the distance setting which makes me feel it does, but no reviewer is talking about it)

design - the lines are awesomely sharp yet understated.
price is slightly sour true but to bring back the game pricing has to be sweet to re live the first generation octavia launched in India. which nither latter models failed to generate.
Also the after sales and service of skoda and vw doing the rounds...
atlest the 1.5 litre oetrol should be little kick down some fancy gig to play fair with the competition and pricing

Hi Arun. Yes, as before, multi-link for the 1.8 TSI only. 1.4 TSI and 2.0 TDI get a torsion beam at the rear.

Price might be half of others who offers hands free parking but service is much worse than others as well.

Skoda still way behind to capture indian market...the company is not concentrating on lower market like hyundai did.. Also volkswagen n honda did.... They are jst maintaining their class at a cost of loss making... They must start production from as low as 5 lacs... 7 lacs 10 lacs... N so on.... Look at Renault they enter late after skoda n now for sure selling more vehicles than skoda
