This young man has always had a heart of a lion. First time I saw him play he immediately became my favorite player up till now. I was once a blues fan but switched to chiefs ever since McKenzie joined the club. Still a Loyal chiefs fan 🖤♥️💛🧡

When I read the heading I thought I was going to see a player that was exceptional, but he was not.
He was only doing what is expected of a player to do in the position he plays in.
I was more impressed with some of the wing players in the clips.

Well, you can argue that the video title was click bait. But that doesn't detract from the fact that he was making what he was doing, especially catching the kicks under the high ball, look easy. But It wasn't easy. Rather it was a master-class performance.

The guy is criminally underused by the ABs. Unbelievable talent, fantastic attitude and never hides. Should be a shoo in at 15.
Too small for international #15. Would get heavily tested with the high ball. Jordie or Stevenson more suited at #15. DMac is a #10.
@@billymack333Leight Halfpenny is the same height +/- as DMac and was one of if not the best 15 under the highball when it was the primary tactic of most teams a few years ago. Look at Kolbe now he's a beast in the air. Back three of Clarke DMac and Jordan would put the fear of god in any team.

I don't want to take anything away from Damian McKenzie. He's become one the best players in the sport. But this video makes me laugh because it shows him being absolutely mediocre. Except for the few tries and the few high balls he catches while actually going up for them, all he does is get tackled so hard he loses the ball, makes a few dodgy passes and catches a few standard kicks🤣 "Could not be stopped". Was that meant to be ironic?
