    I have yet to see Breakfast At Tiffany's, but from what I heard, Audrey is the best reason to watch it...I saw her in My fair Lady...She can sing, so I never understood why Audrey's singing parts were dubbed...Audrey Hepburn is the epitome of the classy woman...A lady in the streets, a freak in the sack...She worked for the French Resistance in World War 2 against the Nazi's and she spent Much of her Life involved in Charity work...If I ever got married, my ideal wife would be a lot like Audrey....The French Actress Audrey Tatou ( Amelie, Venus Beauty Institute ) is a dead ringer for Audrey Hepburn...Audrey was a class act....

      Remember, Hollywood cherry picks the most vulnerable, unloved, mentally & emotionally unprotected people.
      For them, these people are easier to manipulate & to mould.
      They give them major makeovers externally.
      No internal work- if they helped these people to ‘heal’ most of these people would ‘run a mile’- as their sanity, moral code and boundaries would protect them and show clearly the red flags.
      So, know that, these people you speak off, had emotional and mental stuff that needed to be attended to.

    Audrey's height was 5'6 3/4". She was too tall for ballet not too short. 5'7" is typically the height limit for ballet. Ballerinas are small and thin. She talked about it in the interview with Barbara Walters.

      But she still was within the limit, right?

    • @JustTanya.
      @JustTanya. Год назад +11

      True. It makes it difficult when doing pas de deux. The lines and turns make it difficult to complete and the taller girls in the corps would often have to be at the ends and that doesn't make it easy to be noticed by companies for jobs. Not to mention for some girls who are taller, their feet are bigger so they would have to special order their shoes which is expensive because ballerinas go through those shoes very very fast. With practice, rehearsals and performances, they're lucky if their shoes last a week or two. That's why most companies prefer shorter girls.

    • @legendary2553
      @legendary2553 Год назад +8

      If 5’7 is the limit for ballet and she was a quarter under 5’7 doesn’t that mean she would’ve qualified? Since she was within the height scale ?

    • @JustTanya.
      @JustTanya. Год назад +21

      @@legendary2553 Just because it's the limit doesn't mean companies will accept that limit unless the dancer is truly gifted. They tend to want to have 5'0-5'4". I personally am glad that Audrey was 5'7" because that meant that she wouldn't be lost in the crowd of ballerinas in the back and instead she would be where she is, a shining star front and center. 💖

He tortured his wife mentally , he would sleep with other woman while she is in the next room simply ignoring her presence but Jacqueline never thought of leaving him because of his position and her being first lady ,she knew if she try to expose him , she will end up dead too.He would play with emotions of other woman while making them to dream of a future together but when a woman became too clingy ,he would just dump them , banish them or ask the Mexican mafias to take care of them , no offense to the dead but he and his brother was real bastards .

    Hepburn went to a British boarding school for a while, before the war. Her father never visited her there, even though he lived in England. He promoted Nazism in England, including fascist parades to convince the British to ally with Hitler. When the war started, he was imprisoned and spent the war there. The story of her trip to visit him in the 60s is so sad. There she was, a beautiful and world-famous actress and fashion icon, and all she wanted from her father was some recognition and connection. Instead, he was cold and selfish.

In fact, I love the movie so much that I purchased it several years ago, as well as "Wait Until Dark," another superb movie (suspense genre). The iconic and legendary Ms. Hepburn made wearing short, precision cut hair and flats chic and fab. She was very compassionate toward all mankind, a great humanitarian.
