    For anyone using Extinction Level Event for drums, you first need to set up the outputs in Kontakt Player and save that as a reaper preset. After that, close Kontakt Player and add ELE to your reaper session. Let it do the auto routing then go into ELE, select the preset you saved and set up the track outputs the same as in this video. Hope that helps.

    Awesome video! Ezdrummer is awesome, I know some people get used to route GGD, but I think Toontrack Ezdrummer is so much easier!

    Thank you for the template. One thing that I do not understand is why you send Snare bottom 6 times to the verb track.

  • @Ronbo765
    @Ronbo765 3 месяца назад

    After this, if I wanted to send the drums parts to a reverb send, I would make a track with a reverb plugin on it and drag all of the drum parts to the reverb send?

    Wow that's a ton of work just to set up the drums. Is there really a big advantage to this over just having it all on one track? Each kit piece can be adjusted via EZD2...volume, pitch, velocity. Does it sound better doing it this way?

  • @soulflower8687
    @soulflower8687 Год назад +1

    The moment you change the drumkit EZ drummer 3, all your routing work will probably be in vain, so saving a template only works if you intend to use the exact same drumkit again

  • @JoeyRadBones
    @JoeyRadBones Год назад

    I'm finding the the routing doesn't cross over when changing kits within EZ Drummer 3, even within variations of the same kit. Is there a workaround for this or do you need to save a template for every kit?

    Serious question,
    DO I NEED 17 TRACKS FOR DRUMS? 😁

  • @WhiteyMcCrackersonVirgin

    my kick is activating the snare channel even though i have routed everything to its own channel. Kick is set to ez1 and snare is set to ez2 and all the filters and effects are set to track 16 in my case. do you know what could be causing this? its the only drum track that is acting up on me.

    How do you do it when you use for instance Krimh Drums that are run through Kontakt 7? For me I havn't found any solution so far. Love your content!

    • @Jimmy_Z
      @Jimmy_Z Год назад +1

      Kontakt is more complicated. You have to setup outputs in kontakt first then right click on the Kontakt 7 in your plugin on the track and select route to 64 tracks. Once you get it once, highlight all your drum tracks and save as template.

    Hey Bobby, love the channel. I was hoping Myk might have covered in Reaper how to render down the EZdrummer2 midi to seperate .wav drum stem tracks to mix like you do in Pro Tools. That seems to be the missing piece in all of the last few Ezdrummer videos. Finally found out how to do it here: ruclips.net/video/srFtet4X3m8/видео.html
