+Jacob tone I doubt it. The pilots have weapons, and Marines are stationed on ships and protect them. Also, there are some soldiers near them that can easily help the sailors. Also, the US would make sure that wouldn't happen

Brooke is proud of her former class-mate, the entire crew, and deeply respects their mission and so do I. I served in the US Army, but still reverence their service on that ship. Brook left CNN and the USS Anzio is on the list for decom. (with China barking?). I say keep Anzio until the rudders fall off. Great video!
You all sound like its a challenge for you to contain yourself in the presence of a beautiful lady. To many of those brave Navy seaman, CNN's Brooke Baldwin is like a member (i.e. aunt or sister) of their families. Its a honor to meet her; she is a fair, just and caring person who does a great job at CNN. Stop thinking that everything is sexual.
Not a fan of CNN but, I am a navy vet and I spent lots of time on boats like that and I understand what they do and are going through. Your piece is awesome and I wanted to say thanks for giving all of those sailors a voice.
Depends on the type of deployment, usually there's a restock on the sea... but again, it depends on the mission. In 9 months I have had only 2 ports to stop in for 4 days in each, and that was it.
i was on a ship last year also, and when you are away from your family for most of the year every day is hard. Sometimes you can email them and sometimes you better learn how to write a letter. Ports depend on the mission needed. I was luckier than Alex, I got off the ship every 45 days in the 8.5 months. And some ships are even more dangerous then the one shown here. Always have to be on your toes, head on a swivel. Be aware of your surroundings. And try not to worry about those you left behind at home.
