  • Being in the golf industry definitely has its perks. One sunny afternoon in May, Pete Wlodkowski of AmateurGolf.com arrived home to find one of the best things for any golfer, a 48" box on the doorstep. But this one was different. It was twice as wide as the regular club box. And INSIDE the box was yet another, sleek black box with the Cobra logo on top. Upon opening it, Pete found a single 7-iron that looked too good to hit while also demanding to be tested. For the first time in history, 3D printing has been used to produce a set of irons, and Cobra's new LIMIT3D has been released with just 500 sets available to the public. The 3D process allows for a design intricacy that could not be achieved with forging or casting, and the look, feel, and forgiveness are out of this world good. At $3,000 per set they are on the pricey side, but we have a feeling they are going to sell out quickly.
