I didn't see the eclipse, but seeing people's reactions is enough to make me happy. For a brief moment, we stood together as one human family looking up at the stars.

What a terrific report! Thank you ABC! I think I must share the feelings of many when I say I had seen two partial solar eclipses during my 77 years on this planet, and had a ho-hum attitude when told how amazing total ones are, but now, I know all those glowing descriptions of how awe-inspiring totality is are spot on, pun intended. This blew my mind. I'll be 99 for the next one. Maybe we'll have teleportation machines by then! Thank you again for your excellent coverage.

@@aka99 Yes, so true. We had only 2 minutes of totality, but those two minutes will stand out in my mind for the few remaining years I probably have on this planet. They were equivalent to seeing Niagara Falls, the Rocky Mountains, Carlsbad Caverns, or whatever awesome natural thing leaves you in awe. Anyone who has a chance to see a TOTAL solar eclipse should go for it. It's a million times better than the partial kind.

@@gmaneis Ah, you were propaply at the edge zone of totality. The sun is currently at its Maximum, which means the Corona was at is Maximum. I like astronomy and weather. I enjoy the night sky aswell and small things Nature offers. Have a great day!

@@aka99 Yes we were on the edge of the moon shadow, but were in it enough to enjoy it. Our small town has a web page, where the breakdown of totality duration was available not only for our town, but for just about every town in our state. Our daughter lives in what was the center of the moon shadow, so she enjoyed twice as much totality time as my wife and I did, but we're old, so we were satisfied with 2 minutes and not having to drive and be in crowds and traffic. 🙂

I saw the eclipse at Hamilton, ON. First time to have ever seen the Solar Eclipse in its totality. The sky cleared out 30 minutes before totality hit, so I was able to witness totality under blue sky. It was a marvelous experience for me. I hope to do it again in 2026 in Spain, and eventually 2044 in the my home country of the United States of America. ☀🌑

"Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Thank you for everything CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE, LORD GOD, and please know that I worship no idol. Amen."
Please pray these words now, pray them as you read them if you cannot look and remember them 🙏 please consider beginnning daily prayer, it is a good habit that will help you if you do it and continue to do it. Don't just read from the Book or merely say you are a member of a religion! Actually practice daily prayer, the most fundamental part of religion (or one of the most fundamental parts). What would any Holy Book be without regular prayer? It will actually help you!
    🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
worship the CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE, THE LORD GOD and try not to worry too much about the differences between the different religions and denominations, try to think about the similarities and the things they may have in common more than the differences. Daily prayer is a fundamental part that many people do not practice although it is encouraged
