Thanks. I try really hard to be authentic since the windsports content creator community is mostly undeclared paid promotions by “ambassadors,” team riders, or shops trying to sell gear.
That’s a great point. LA has fairly good wind. But it’s still not good enough for me to ride a 30 liter board or tiny foil with regularity. The best gear is the gear that works for you and your conditions!
@@wingmanfoilclub "Real World" Even though you're much more advanced than me, you're able to humble yourself and bring this to the common man. The point you mentioned "I hate pumping"... My God pumping is miserable and accounts for %80 of my post session fatigue. I'm just starting out with Winging after 32 years of other wind & foil sports and I need to improve this pumping. Hey, keep filming with this wing with the duct tape repair 🤣 It adds another special touch
@kippywylie one way to recover some energy is to use a harness. Since SoCal is light wind and sometimes I have to pump a lot, it really helps me to be able to hook into the harness after pumping on foil and rest.
Thanks!
Thanks for the support! You’re awesome. Let me know if you ever have any questions I can answer!
Haha oh man I love being powered up enough to not bother pumping it’s so much better and really made a really big difference when learning.
Right?! I’ll deal with a little more wing and wear a harness to save my forearms just so I can avoid pumping. Plus… boooooosts!
Great advice. Very authentic and passionate about the sport. 👍

Good video. And it's nice to see your real world gear. Makes it more authentic. Thanks guys. Worth sharing.

@@wingmanfoilclub I couldn't agree more. Quite a winter for you down there. Greetings from chilly Vancouver.
