My husband and I went to another wood we had never been to and thoroughly enjoyed our time there.
We even came across a fairy tree!
I also made Rose Petal Syrup this week - and lemonade with it. It was so tasty!
I talk about self criticism and how the voices from around you can influence you.

What I have learned so far in my life is what your words are also echoing.....the love of the self is the most important relationship that we have....for everything we do, is affected by how we feel about ourselves. Being aware of how we are wired and accepting this is so important. However being an observer in your own life, takes time as each moment unfolds with new experiences. When I was young, I believed in the Fey and all manner of creatures like Unicorns and Dragons and Angels, and felt a deep connection to all of Nature, and to whales and dolphins! I spoke about it freely, not realising that others would not understand, and I would see others reactions and guessed that they probably thought that I was a little "unwell". I knew that there was nothin wrong with me as I had already identified that I was being governed by my heart...it was such a strong feeling that I was not really bothered about what others thought about my beliefs as I did not need to convince anyone else what I knew to be true. However, some had unkind words and behaviours that stayed with me for a long long time, and it did shut me down from being open for the most part and knocked my self worth. Time is a great healer though, and it gave me a chance to be brave enough to take a new road, and start a new life, on my own with my young son by moving abroad....and I discovered more about the real me and grew back to the person that I should have been. Your videos are so inspiring and it is wonderful that you are shining a light on those of us who are highly sensitive and highly intuitive. The timing could not be more perfect......there are more of us out there than we realise. What I have discovered in my own research about the unseen realms and about Humanity, is that there is SO much more than we have been told, or taught. We are eternal souls, who don't get just one shot at life, but many shots, in fact as many as we need, to experience, in order to grow and expand. Everything that happens to us, is part of a plan that we have chosen for ourselves, not dictated by anyone else. The Free Will gift is one of the most precious, in my view! Some of us don't always choose the easiest path, but the harder the path, the deeper the lessons and usually the quicker the growth! Blessings to your Kerstin and all of this community!

Such a lovely video. I am glad that you found a loving partner who supports and honors you. Scotland sounds like a sweet place to be...especially for faeries. We have faeries here on the coast of Oregon, USA. They lift my spirit...I can feel their kisses on my cheek right now. It seems too often we get caught up in fear and forget that we are surrounded by love and support. I'm glad you listened to your inner voice and found your home. Beautiful scenery and what a lovely sight of swans and ducks! So much to explore and see and what peace:) If we live and listen to everyone but ourselves we never have true freedom. An inner voice will guide if you can trust yourself to listen, I find this happens when i'm engrossed in a project that demands my attention , usually working with wood or tending to a food and herb garden, out of the blue the answer to a concern that was playing on my mind would suddenly present itself , all the best .

Hello Kerstin. It’s good that you have found your happy place, knowing that it is your own path that you have followed and you are true to yourself and your feelings. And you couldn’t have found a more beautiful and stunning place than Scotland. I love Scotland and its people. The scenery alone fills me with calm and peace every time I visit. I am very different from my 3 older siblings and they do not understand why I prefer peace and simplicity in life as they prefer all the trappings of modern living. And they criticise my high sensitivity to the point that I rarely see them now or want to see them. I prefer my own simpler life with my husband. Why do people feel the need to criticise other people’s way of life? I couldn’t do that. I enjoy your video content so much and it’s a joy to be part of this community. I did have an Internet Problem due to a huge thunderstorm in my tiny village...so know-right after my sunday-ballett-teaching-class-I will catch up with the videos I missed.And you inspired me for my ballett-class-tomorriw in the local school -I will do a a choreogeaphy...about wood-fairys Meeting rose-garden fairys......who try to invite each other to a ball-but no one is home to receive the invitation.....so they go on a journey to find the other friend....

Scotland is so magical and the people of Scotland still live a magic culture (the Unicorn is our national animal) which might be why I always loved it here.

I could not agree more on wanting to be close to some woods. Scotland doesn't have many big ones any longer but is trying to reforest.
My love story with Scotland began at a young age when I saw a programme about it. I just felt an instant connection. I then visited in my twenties and wanted to move but life got in the way first. It just feels like home to me and I am really happy that I do live here now.
