- Hello Everyone,
This week was still cool but this is about to change soon! I got my summer wardrobe back out, did my felting project and made Blueberry trifle this week.
I also made it to Chester Hill Fort for a lovely time out. A simple life is my focus now after I have lived in very busy places. I love our Cottage and the Seaside town we are in now and it really suits me and my husband best.

Love spending quiet Sunday mornings catching up with the latest beautiful Scottish Fairy video. I was feeling a little tearful today after the actions of someone I thought was a friend. Hi Ellie. I know how you feel. I have a ‘friend’ who has drained my energy for several years. It was a one sided friendship which was all about her. I have finally pulled away from this relationship. I am better without her and I am not regretting it. People can be unthinking and unkind. I hope you feel better. We have a lovely friend in our Scottish fairy and can enjoy the calm and peace of her channel. Best wishes and have a lovely week x

We just got back from Detroit Michigan, Chicago Illinois, and Hawaii. I could not wait to get back home to Alaska. I have to be close to nature also .I think that's why i love your channel, and your voice makes me feel calm. New sub! Just found your channel and I must say, I am charmed and delighted by it. I adore Scotland 🏴, it’s such a magical country to me as well as holds a very dear place in my heart. Years ago I visited Edinburgh for the first time, driving into the city center, I was overwhelmed with the feelings of being home ( I’m an American living in Germany) and when I saw this floating castle as we approached Princes street I knew this was the country for me 💙. I try an get back there at least once a year.

Dear Kerstin, I enjoyed this vlog as all your previous ones ❤. And thank you for sharing a little bit more about your past. I'm glad you found your path, a slower life. I live in Frankfurt and although it's not a multi million city like others, I do feel exhausted and stressed. Some people are even agressive. At the moment I can't change my situation due to a few reasons, but I try my best to recharge my batteries 😉. So I totally understand your decision to live a slower life, surrounded by nature and friendly people. Everybody has different needs and should live on their terms. Take care and best wishes 🙏

Hello Kerstin. Thank you for a lovely calming video and for sharing your feelings about living in a city. I have never been to Paris but I do love Edinburgh, it’s an interesting city to visit. I’ve never lived in a city and have never wanted to although I appreciate that many people love city living. I think you both made a wise choice moving to the coast and your cottage is so charming. Spring is definitely here and yes at last we are getting some warmer weather here in the UK. Your felted flowers are so pretty as are the lovely flowers in your garden. I, like so many others really enjoy your content each week. My husband and I are moving to a seaside town in NC on Friday. He has been renovating our small condo for the last year. A dream come true. I loved seeing all your beautiful handmade crafts including the gloves you put away in the chest.....the touch of velvet ribbon was so pretty, and the trifles looked delicious.....I think they are lovely individualised in those sweet glass containers with their own lids!.......little home made treats are so welcome. This is what I love about your channel....there is lots of variety, from your knitting and craft projects, to your homemade recipes, to the lovely scenery and floral displays of nature......it is all very calming and makes me appreciate how a daily walk helps us to connect with nature which in turn helps us to ground our bodies which eliminates the stresses from the electronic pollution that we are bombarded with constantly.......Nature helps us in so many ways and you remind me how fortunate we are to have this abundance of natural life around us. Thank you for another wonderful video!
