Dear Scottish Fairie.....what a beautiful video!...words of gentle wisdom, beautiful scenery and beautiful musical accompaniment. The walk along the shore was such a lovely object lesson....As the gentle waves wash on to the shore, they carry away all that was there just there the other morning....all is fresh again and new. Such is your gentle view of self acceptance and forgiveness.....a fresh newness and moving on to a new day. If we are honest...we ALL may have made bad choices and have regrets, but we also have the CHOICE to start fresh....to wash away the regrets and begin each day anew as that of the rising sun upon a clean beach. Oh, that lilac lemonade looked wonderful! I've never made it...
Hello Charlotte and thank you for another very kind comment - they are all much appreciated! I love your words about the gentle wash on the shore carrying away all that was! I find the sea is a healer, forgiving and kind. I agree, we can shift our view and change course at any stage in life. The past is the past and will remain there if we let it. Have a wonderful Sunday and once more thanks for your kind support 🧚
Lovely video once again -- the sunrise, forgiveness so no regrets -- the lilac lemonade seems a drink only fairies could imagine creating! Enjoy your week, DearScottishFairy! Until your next video 🍋💌
Thank you for another kind comment - they really mean a lot! The lemonade is really wonderful - I might try making Rose Lemonade next 🌹 Have a lovely week and I see you soon 🧚
I was a single mom also. I also have regrets about how I raised my son. There are things I wished I could have changed. We all make mistakes. He tells me I'm a good mom. Thank you so much for this video it really helped me.❤❤❤
Hello Cathy and thank you for this lovely comment. As single parents we do our best and only in hindsight do we think that our actions could have been different. I am happy your son sees it like mine - that is because we are good moms! I hope you hold pride in the fact that you raised a child by yourself. Have a wonderful Sunday 🧚
A lesson for us all. Beautifully said amid a morning vista of tranquility and peace. I am learning much from you dear Scottish Fairy, and allowing the wisdom of slow living to flow into my life. Thank you. 🙏🌊
What a beautiful little channel that popped up randomly on my feed. I love your soothing tones, your home, the music in your video, and your life messages 😊 I have subscribed x
Such a beautiful video, with those gentle words of wisdom, so good for my daughter to also hear that others get anxious and scared. Many blessings from France, Katrina
Hello dear This video, besides being beautiful, it dealing with a very meaningful subject. Thank you for talking about it. Its so true what you said and so hard to do... i suppose it's a matter of self awareness and mostly a spiritual decision. I loved the sentence in which you said we shouldn't leave this world with regrets. I think it may help me to be focused on the way of dealing with my regrets. I wish i would be more forgiving to myself. I am working on it... Thank you again for being authentic. 🌺🦋🌻💕🌸
Thank you for this lovely comment. It is much appreciated. I hope that you can forgive yourself in the future. It is not always easy as I do know from my own mistakes that effected others. But just as we forgive others we should forgive ourselves and show ourselves the same kindness we would to those we love. You will get there! Have a lovely Sunday 🧚
@@thescottishfairy5396 Thank you dear for you kind and encouraging words. You are right. I am more forgiving to others than myself...that is definitely a thing to work on... Thank you for believing in me 😊 Have a lovely day 🌷💛🦋💕
Hello Kirsten. How beautiful was the beach at sunrise, stunning. What a wonderful way to start a day. Your thoughts on regrets in life are honest. We all make mistakes but have to move past those if we are to be happy. I, like so many people, have regrets and I wish I could go back and change things, but I can’t. Many of my regrets stem from being so highly sensitive and as a result I reacted badly in some situations. It makes me sad. But I have people in my life (my wonderful husband included) for which I am so thankful. I have never heard of lilac lemonade but I bet it’s very refreshing. Thank you for your content. I hope you have a lovely week and that the warm sun shines on your lovely part of Scotland 🌷🌼🌸🌺❤️
Hello Lynda and thank you for your comment. I understand your feelings regarding reacting to things differently as a HSP. We all make mistakes and as long as we didn't plan on being unkind but reacting this mistake is "innocent". Forgiving ourselves for these mistakes isn't easy as we wish we hadn't done what we did but I hope you are good to yourself as your sound like a wonderful person to me! I am happy that you have a wonderful husband (we are both lucky that way!) and that you are part of this lovely community. Have an enjoyable Sunday. Sending blessings from Scotland 🌸🧚
@@thescottishfairy5396 Thank you so much for your kind and caring response. It means an awful lot. I feel that I am a kind and caring person and yes any mistakes I made were always done out of kindness and caring even if others could not see it that way. I am so glad to have found your wonderful channel and to be part of this lovely community. Thank you ❤️
I have made millions of bad choices my whole life. Kept bad people in my life and threw away the good. And that is just the tip of the iceberg. At every crossroad i went the wrong way. Some things I am OK with ...others...who-boy did i make a mess out of everything. I am older now and look back and realize what was so important to me was really not. The times I should have sat with my grandparents and savored those moments I did not. Too busy. what I wouldn't do do have them beside me and hear their stories about coming here through Ellis Island and writing it all down. I miss them very much. I think I broke their hearts by keeping distant. Hopefully they understand I was a selfish young teenager. And really did love them. When I read the book "the Road Less Traveled"...first sentence said......"Life is difficult". And boy it sure is. IF I had a magic wand .......and made a wish.....I would be an infant and start all over again...knowing what I know now of course. hopefully when I die I will finally find peace and happiness. there isn't any here on Earth.
Thank you for sharing your story with us. We do make choices at times that turn out to be wrong, that is human nature. I am sure your grandparents knew that you loved them. Sending you a heartfelt hug from Scotland 🧚
This was a lovely vlog and beautifully shot. I think we all make mistakes and have some regrets (I certainly still have some regrets), but all we can do, is to learn from them and move on. Never knew you can make a lemonade like that. It must be refreshing to drink it in the summer. Thank you for sharing a bit more about your thoughts. Have a lovely week Kerstin ❤
Hello Anita and thank you for your comment. Yes, we can learn from our mistakes, especially forgiving ourselves as most mistakes we made weren't meant to be one in the first place. We just made the wrong decision or acted from a place of anger or sadness or annoyance. The lemonade is really lovely - maybe you try to make it! Have a wonderful Sunday 🧚
Your videography is BREATHTAKING!!!!..( What in the world are you filming with??? ) This was an utterly classic beauty!!! ...You and your lantern, moving through sunrise; the sand and the sea, then the sun..Your voice with an ancient melodious soothing; healing, with hope of forgiveness..for all!!!

At age 59, I still bother myself with regrets. Perhaps if I were more successful, I would feel better about myself, and it would therefore be easier to let some regrets go. I don't have resolution around my father, who was often verbally unkind to myself and my Mother. He was a few times better. I don't really like being a highly sensitive person. I feel it's a hindrance. I wish I could have grown out of that, developed self-confidence sooner, so I could have been around him instead of many years of no contact, and only a fleeting last one before he died. I see we have some plants in common despite being across the world. Here in my Oregon garden I dig up those dandelions and plantain with a vengeance! 😏Do you know what the plant is at 4:38"? That volunteers readily here also. I once tried transplanting some into a hanging basket but was unsuccessful. Its' flowers are so lovely and dainty.
